@bearpawtimber8739 I bought mine used and it had a broken frame. My friend put 3/8" steel fish plates on the inside of each rail. It was broken in a very difficult area. He had to figure out how to navigate around a motor mount and a hydraulic valve. The break was on the right hand side vertically between the 2 rearward bolt holes where the loader brackets mount, and could only be plated on one side. The left side wasn't broken in half yet but it had a crack in the same location. He cut an oval in the broken part and welded through it into the fish plate, then welded the oval piece back in and then welded the top and bottom edges. The plates also have 2 bolts through them and are sandwiching the frame between the fishplates and the loader brackets. Very ingenious idea. Now its stronger than the original. I don't know how to attach a picture to this comment. I am sure there are others that have been in the same situation and were trying to figure out how to repair it adequately in such a difficult area of the frame. The local dealer said several of the TYM built tractors had the same frame and were subject to cracking and breaking because they were too thin and people never realized the bolts for the loader brackets come loose from slamming into piles of wet snow. The guy I bought my 234 from even managed to break the loader mounts. The tractor only has 387 hours on it, and still looks new, but the guy lived on top of a mountain and has a long steep driveway. He wouldn't admit to it, but I speculate that he was running out of room to plow the snow mid season, and was getting a run from the top of the hill and slamming into piles of wet, heavy snow with the blade angled. I am in the Inland Pacific Northwest and we get really wet and heavy snow up here.
