Assalamu aleykum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh Sh! Please do the serie please. Personnaly I'm a revert Muslima. I tried to practice Islam as close a the sunna as I can and as I know. When I went back to my West African country I was labelled as a "wahhabi" because I was wearing hijab or because I like to wear black. Many people are used to pray with their arms dropping instead of putting their hands on their chests. When I would say this is not correct, they would say "oh what you are doing is for the Wahhabi". They've been using "Wahhabi" as a synonym of "extremist". I didn't even know what "Wahhabi" meant. And honestly I don't know much about the sh Muhammad ibn 'Abdul Wahhab appart from Kitab at Tawhid. So really it would be very beneficial to be able to first educate ourselves and then others in shaa Allah. Jazakallahu khayr!

I'm looking forward to this series. Interestingly brother Daniel did an interview with Sh. Hassan Kettani a few years back. That's how i came to know of him (Kettani). I was impressed at Kettani's willingness to discuss and engage on political issues, he is the type of Athari scholar that really impresses me. One of the reasons why people's heart is always shaken when they got some information about Islam is that we now have entertainers claiming to be dae. These entertainers don't always allow people to learn their deen from the right source. May Allah help us. All they just want to do is to be relevant. I am Moroccan and Know الشيخ الكتاني I think his pretty of book has some "controversial" critical statements about الشيخ محمد بن عبد الوهاب (he is Salafi but he do not agree with some accusations) but I appreciate that in the past years, it seems he is praising so-called Wahabis as our Oumma is facing much more important issues and we should unite on them. Frankly, I don not see any benefit from accusing الشيخ محمد بن عبد الوهاب of takfir considering that his recent followers are denying that.

I am academically interested in this, looking forward to the first of the possibly many other videos on this topic.

I came to visit a small village inside an island and people are repeating the same thing “Wahhabis or Wahhabism” I then asked them: what does it mean and who is it referring to? I was shocked to know that they have no idea what is it ! They don’t even know there’s someone called Sheikh Muhammad ibn Abdul-Wahhab رحمه الله

Please, continue this series. There are so many confusions among the Muslims on this topic. In Sha Allah, with the help of this series we will be able to acknowledge the haqq and nothing but the haqq.

I wouldn't put all the blame on Justin Trudeau, I live in Canada and I think a large part of the blame is the overspending of Canada in the past 10 years I feel like a lot of Canadian money is being thrown away on futilities instead of industry and this is negatively affecting everyone the population itself is a huge part of the problem they don't wanna work and they overspend on luxuries this is what I noticed from living in Canada for almost 20 years.
