Funny how the girl with black hair has dot eyes and the redhead has actual eyes opposite of Betty and Wilma lol

Too bad this was the only appearance of Charlie and Irving. They should had made a couple of more appearances on the show

I will immediately tip any car hop or waitress/waiter who sings this to me while bringing food. I respect one who reveres the Flintstones. You can keep your Andy Griffith and Hogan's Heroes - Flintstones to me is so much better.

Source: The Flintstones Wiki Here we come on the run, With a burger on a bun, And a dab of coleslaw on the side~ Oh your taste we will tickle, With a cold dill pickle, And all of our potatoes are French fried, fried, fried~ Our burgers can't be beat, Because we grind our own meat~ Grind, grind, grind, grind, grind~ When you drive away, A tip upon our tray, We hope to find, find, find, find, find, We hope to find, find, find, find, find~

The original Flintstones was in no way made for kids. It was an animated version of Jackie Gleason’s “The Honey Mooners.” In fact, Jackie Gleason nearly sued Hanna and Barbera for stealing his basic plot, but friends talked him out of it. Alice was in every way like Wilma. Barney had a few of Norton’s mannerisms but I think he was drawn into many of Fred’s crazy ideas. But that’s what has kept the Flintstones running for all these years, just beautiful animated comedy. The original Honeymooners only lasted for roughly 32 episodes, whereas The Flintstones went for six seasons. Season six was the most hit-and-miss season. Still, the Flintstones was the best series that H-B did, although The Jetsons came closer than most of the other series to matching the Flintstones magic with the premise of being cast in the future.

Who the hell names their daughter Charlie and/or Irving?
@StMikeyАй бұрын
An earlier scene has friend talking to the girls on the phone with Wilma listening in. To cover his butt, Fred refers to them as his friends Charlie and Irving. That's all Wilma and Betty know them as.

This song was fun and I sing it today as I cook. I remember watching this as a kindergartener...ohh the memories! Looking at it now...these waitresses were just being friendly (the main reason I love this episode). Basically, what customer service is all about

More than the usual adult humor in this particular episode. Anyone who thinks the original Flintstones as being just for kids has no clue.
@watchforever1724 Жыл бұрын
Probably because they never most of the adults

That’s why I never understood why some people accused the live action movie as being too adult as silly because the og flintstones had lots of adult humor
@pjimmbojimmbo19903 ай бұрын
The Flintstones was an Animated Adult Show, when it was initially on Network TV, only later during Syndication was it common to see at Lunch Times for Kids to watch. Over the Run of the SHow, there was plenty of Adult Humour, but the Kids rarely, if ever caught it. Rocky and Bullwinkle was another Adult Cartoon...

It's an excerpt from a Flintstone's episode. Context would help, but this clip functions more as a nostalgia kick for those who have seen it versus being a standalone joke.
