I had no idea such a repair was possible but when something went awry with my screen (cat related?), I watched this video and it gave me the confidence to try and replace my screen. I got a replacement from Ebay, being very careful to make sure I matched the model # of the screen exactly. The replacement worked like a charm. So all my fans except my gpu were running and I had no display nor did my usb slots work. My solution was switching the slots of the ram sticks. Instead of 1 and 4 I switched it to 1and3. All of sudden the gpu fans spun and my usb ports work… the display shows😄.

Could a ddos attack or other hack be causing this issue?. Could it be a nerdy little twat currupting the hardware remotely?

A Sandisk SSD Plus is a great choice, it'll last as it is SLC Caching. I also installed a 1TB Sandisk SSD Plus in my Dell Optiplex 7010/9010, plus an Intel i7 2600 Processor, and 16GB Of Ram; I can tell you that it's perfectly running on Windows 11 Enterprise 24H2. Well Done.

AMazing work brother. spot on even in 2024. It was beeping at every fan on the motherboard which wasnt connected. so I had to go and disable the warning in bios for all non connected fans and fix any fan that might have had an obsurction. All the best
