I just watched this and its really disappointing. There are so many problems with this movie 1. The initial battle scene was atrocious. The whole thing of soldiers charging at each other and planes crashing around in ww2 is cringe 2. The script is extremely unrealistic. 3. The Mexican girl would have been with the white soldiers not with the black soldiers. Clearly her father was white mexican therefore she is mixed (mulato) since her mother is black. Hispanic Americans would had been integrated with white soldiers. Mexican is a nationality not a race. 4. Im sick of the whole rascism agenda of this movie. If you tell me that these women are black, therefore, i should feel sympathy for them, then I dont give a shit. When are we ever going to see something like glory again? Where white officers trained black soldiers to be professionals and ruthless so they can stand a chance ? Lets not forget that black soldiers are led by black officers but trained by white officers. But No its always black people = the victims, white people = bad people. I would actually care if these women work hard in shithole conditions to deliver these letters to the soldiers rather than making a point that they are better than white soldiers. Also White soldiers would assist them in anything so they can deliver these letters not act against them. In the army the most that you would have seen in rascism are segregated units , and unequal treatment but they would always cooperate with each other.

Not every movie with a minority female lead as the hero is "woke." Some stories are simply inspirational and deserve to be told. The Six Triple Eight highlights the incredible bravery and resilience of the only all-Black, all-female battalion in WWII, focusing on the message of perseverance in the face of discrimination. Recognizing such achievements is about honoring overlooked chapters of history. You probably would never know this story if not for the movie. That's the point. You learned something new. History is not woke. It just simply is.

You're being very disrespectful to our military members. Mail is crucial in the military, especially before the internet. Receiving letters and care packages showed people cared and gave soldiers something to fight for. It's heartbreaking to witness the disrespect toward American soldiers. I deployed to Syria a few years ago, and soldiers died just trying to get their mail. You are so disrespectful and refuse to watch the movie just because Tyler Perry and Oprah helped make it. Yet, you took the time to criticize it and belittle it. Those women stood up when their country needed them, even when their country was disrespecting them. You judge these women soldiers from history, even though you have never served yourself. Shame on you.

*Bradford* the world's first *UNESCO City of Film.* Yet there's not a single film or TV studio in the city, unless you count the small room inside the *National Science and Media Museum* (which were used for some forgotten Nickelodeon and TV-AM outside broadcast stuff in the 90s), some small rooms inside *Bradford College* and the *University of Bradford,* and a couple of warehouses which have barely been used at all (around 6 or 7 productions have used them). All *Bradford's* film locations are real, and barely need changing. If productions want studios with fake stuff, they go to *Leeds* the city next door, roughly 9 miles away to a road full of film and TV studios, and more nearby. *Bradford* was promised a TV Studio "Hub," as part of *Leeds'* bid to bring the *Channel 4 Headquarters* to *Leeds* but that quickly got forgotten when *Leeds* won, and whoever was involved with the *Bradford* part of the bid didn't even protest the decision to ignore it. They gave the "Hub's" to 3 other cities, all of which already had film and/or TV studios.

The only problem I have with the film is the cast/crew who have no idea where it was supposed to be set, and/or where they filmed. It's supposed to be set in *Birmingham,* just like *Peaky Blinders* (2013-2022)... But is actually filmed in *Bradford,* just like *Peaky Blinders* (2013-2022). Yet the only city or town they talk about is *Greater London* aka *London* (as usual), the city which is actually a *county* and *region* which contains 2 tiny cities, in the 8 square mile *City of Westminster* and the 1 square mile *City of London,* which have nothing to do with the real story. *Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man* (2025) also filmed in *Little Germany, Bradford* again, however for the film they actually filmed some stuff in *Birmingham* (the city where it's set) for the first time ever.
