I think the Himalayan 450 would have suited you better. Lower & adjustable seat height, better suspension.
@FlatBrokeAdventures2 ай бұрын
The Himalayan seat height 825 - 845mm with a lower seat available at 805mm. The 450MT seat is 820mm and the bike can be lowered to 800mm which is what I've done. So it is now lower than in this video, plus the suspension has settled little. The suspension is also fully adjustable on the 450MT. Thanks for your input and for watching
@keepitreal15472 ай бұрын
@@FlatBrokeAdventures The 450 Himalayan seat has an adjustable bar under the seat, this drops it or heightens it depending in rider preference. No need to buy a replacement, it's all there, plus better suspension from stock & longer wheelbase for all-round capability.
@FlatBrokeAdventures2 ай бұрын
That info I got was from their Australian website. The seat is adjustable from 825 to 845mm. If that's still too high then a lower 805mm seat is available. royalenfield.com.au/model/himalayan-450/?gad_source=1&gclid=Cj0KCQjwrp-3BhDgARIsAEWJ6Szl2VuaO0Z8yBkMQGt74t79CfSHryYtt7QxzngU6ELy803j9o6Q05gaAjzDEALw_wcB

I am walking now most of the time without crutches but I (the foot) get tired. Anyway, my recommendation based on my experience now, is to get the best boot that you can afford, I was wearing Alpinestars Tech5 but now I will get the Tech10, definitely $600-800 it is way cheaper than 12+ weeks off and all the pain and all the stuff that came with the accident. Hope you get well and back on the bike soon. Cheers

didn’t seem that bad, would even wonder whether to call if a drop rather than a crash… if you’re going off-road you have to be prepared to accept drops like this, it’ll happen again and again, until it won’t happen anymore… (truth is that at any moment offroad you can to hit the odd obstacle you didn’t see or misjudged and go down)
@FlatBrokeAdventures2 ай бұрын
It wouldn't have been bad at all had the bike not landed on my foot and give me bad sprain and bruising. It was 2 weeks ago today and I'm still having trouble walking and yesterday was my 1st day back at work since it happened. I'm not complaining mate. If it bothered me that much or I was scared of getting hurt I wouldn't have 2 motor bikes. Yes it's a learning experience and there are a couple of factors at least. Lack of skill, bad technique being 2.
