What motor are you using on your rad runner? I’ve heard the stock motor may have a speed limiter

Is this video showing that you can increase the voltage directly at the controller without the need for a boost converter🤔 or are you also using a higher voltage battery. I have a 52v 23ah battery, 52 v 25amp controller, duel 1200w motors, 3 modes with variable speed throttle. I was considering trying boost converters going directly to the motors but wasn't sure I that would allow variable speed or just a constant higher voltage from the boost converter. I really just want to increase the top speed a little .Great video thanks .😀

also would this 12V converter work with a 52V ebike ?
@StanleyMidling
@StanleyMidling 11 ай бұрын
ok, i have a real good question, are you running different wires or using the wires that came with the ebike ? as i see you have the 12V converter running from the batterie, which begs the question, how is your display working off of 12 V, instead of 48V ? or you would need to upgrade your diagram ok ?

i have very similar 35a black controller and it gets me to 57km an hour or so, (52km an hour = 32m/hr) ive seen higher on very slight inclines. Altho i cannot get the pedal assist to cooperate and is always full power so i switched back to the lcd8h. i did love the torque and speed with that controller.

Does anyone know a link to a step down converter to bring 109.2v down to 84volts so I don't blow the 100v caps in my speed controller? I plan on using two 48v battery packs in series, if anyone can help it would be much appreciated! :)

@scientia.ex.deus. Жыл бұрын
You may encounter an issue wiring them in series as some BMS may safety cut out due to excessive voltage, the 13s BMS is expecting 54.6v max and pushing 109.2v through the second in series unit might trip it. It may be absolutely fine but just something to consider

@@electricpower8130 yeah, with my soldering skills I darent attempt it anyway, just neatened up all the wiring on my build (built it yesterday, but wiring was annoying me) and wow this 1500w with a 52v battery on is a little flying machine, it's great fun and now it almost looks factory built... I'm well happy, but yeah I'm gunna get a sabvoton controller and a ukc1' display as my damn Voilamart kit didn't come with a display so I'm not sure how fast I'm going and I can't set it all up correctly, still shifts like pretty quick though..

I had a problem with my 12v brake light. I think the 48v to 12v converter must of had a capacitor that when I pressed and released the brake lever the brake light would remain on for 5 seconds

That controller is the best one it's 35+1amp the mosfets are held with metal bars. You find the circuit is small in width that's to keep connroller cool most of controller the mosfets are screwed in at top against the side where heat greese is applied its normally white in colour to shunt that controller is the best one I've got the same and does work I blew 30mp fuse so I put 35amo fuse it's been fine never put 40to45to50amp as controller pop it would get to much current
@colinwhite144
@colinwhite144 Жыл бұрын
I've got the same controller all you had robdo is solder the shunt bars nip the bars together then solder across the top the length of bar. It might blow a fuse if it's 30 amp use 35to40amp great torque and speed. You doe it the hard way

@ElectricPower did your 48v LCD8H display hold up at 70+ volts? I have the same display and I'm thinking of converting my battery to 60V so would need to run 67.2v through that display and I have no confirmation that it actually works. Thanks.

On controller for 1500wat and its the same on 2000 watt with out shunt bars with solder speed is 45mph the controller is 7amp 35+2amp I've done the shunt I biped bars together so I didn't use much solder speed is the same but the torgue is pretty good that's on the stand weather's crap so I can't try out the upgrade I did do one two weeks ago same controller blue a fuse 30amp so I've put 35amp not 40amp as you could blow controller
