These particular lenses has a slight green tint if I remember correctly. Nice nevertheless. I sold them long ago and kept the turtouse frame / Amber (yellow?!?) lenses which I liked more though sometimes I wish I've kept them to use them every now and again for a change of style. Got a video of the drivers amber lenses in a tortoise shell here kzbin.info/www/bejne/g5O5lJ2fg81gnrM I still have them but screws have been loosening up which is annoying.

@Florin Moldovanu My name is Alexander. I graduated from the university in St. Petersburg. I worked as a worker, welder, economist. I have been living in Russia for 58 years. You do not understand Putin's goals at all. His goal is to keep himself safe. It was his personal and, possibly, family. By his will, thousands of the smartest and most honest citizens of Russia were killed and imprisoned. His parliament is His parliament: people for parliament have been selected for years on the basis of corruption and intimidation. All courts are subject to his will. The laws have been changed in such a way that it is possible to deprive anyone of their freedom and life. There is no protection. And all this is covered by "democracy" - that is, authoritarianism in the clothes of democracy. All elections are rigged at the highest level, skillful propaganda convinces the exhausted layman that nothing depends on his vote. The alteration and falsification of history are rooted in archives (archives are closed) and schools, where, from the field of view of thinking people, evidence of the danger of the personal power of one person is cut out. Those who have the courage to express their will to freedom disappear without a trace or end up in prisons. Putinism is a new kind of despotism: corruption, intimidation and the latest propaganda are carefully mixed. On television, print media and the Internet, , substitution of concepts - "Russian Newspeak" according to Orullu littlehistory.ucoz.ru/publ/na_zlobu_dnja/putinskij_novojaz/9-1-0-131 sci-gorod.ru/2022/06/07/newspeak/ kzbin.info/www/bejne/gWXOmIdnp9mfeqM If you don't understand the dangers of Putinism, that's one thing. But if you deliberately cover up Putin's true goals (preservation and expansion of personal power for personal power!) and justify his actions, then you are Putin. All your arguments about the alleged danger of NATO to Russia are devoid of logic and historical truth: Gorbachev firmly explained in his interviews that he did not receive any guarantees from the USA on this issue. In your opinion, "pumping up weapons" of Ukraine - what is it now? The only thing that the United States provided to Ukraine before the invasion on February 24, 2022 was "javelins" and this was not a decision by Biden, but by Trump. Do you yourself understand something about how we live here in Russia ?? We can't speak our mind without risking jail time. More than 15,000 have already been convicted for liking social media and participating in peaceful protests against Putin's policies. The rest of the people are silent for fear of being repressed, and you take this as support. The NKVD, the KGB, the FSB have their hands at my throat. You do not understand and do not value your freedom. How can a person not appreciate the air when he breathes. In Russia, after 20 years of Putinism, Stalinism has been completely returned, but its form is still soft, as the power elites are integrated into the world consumer culture and legal system in a property way. Putin, in exchange for loyalty, allows his parliament and FSB to steal the Russian budget and entrepreneurs and buy material goods. He himself organizes the bribery and involvement in his network of many politicians abroad. If it were not for the integration of members of his government with foreign capital, we would have started mass executions and concentration camps. Putin was sure that developed countries with a lively electoral system of governing the country, after his invasion of Ukraine, would be afraid of difficulties and would not intervene. But now in Russia it will be like in North Korea or China. I invite you to us - you like Putin. I want to verify this personally.

@florinmoldovanu
@florinmoldovanu Жыл бұрын
yes the review is critical and in-depth no, the main argument regarding the light flickering is that it uses PMW to regulate light intensity which cumulated with the cold temperature of the light it might give some people headaches. For a light this expensive I would have expected nothing but the best unfortunately it's a letdown in many areas. One could buy a regular torch light or buy a regular clip on led light for 20% of the price of this one. A highly pretentious product with a very steep price.

I found this review very interesting... I will be purchasing one and do my own review... Specifically this light was designed and intended for LEO and Military applications... So a review that identifies PWM, Harsh Color, Inability to scan bar codes, and its all metal design are critiques of the specifically engineered designs for it's intended purpose... Too bad that a more objective review is not readily available. Thanks for the attempt.

👍 I've put all the details out there for those who are interested to buy it. I'm a bit confused as to how those yellow bands would prevent reflection, doesn't make sense to me. Regarding PWM, maybe it's not a big deal but again this is information that are is available from the manufacturer so I think some people would appreciate that. I still think it's overpriced for what it is especially considering that it doesn't memorise the last used light intensity setting which would have probably been easy to implement.

Hi. Thanks for the video. I recently purchased one of these and I’m waiting for it to arrive. I just wanted to know if you are still using the rail and how is it going ? Has it broken or is it strong ? Thank you.
@florinmoldovanu
@florinmoldovanu 2 жыл бұрын
You won't have enough clothes to make the rail fail. So it's rock solid although a bit wobbly. It might be more stable without the castor wheels as it lowers it a bit. The castor wheels will add a few centimetres of height to the bottom section though. You will need pliers to screw in securely the middle section to the rail and a hammer to force those plastic plugs into the feet. Hope that helps.

having had a second look at the video now I can say that I can see a point of having the clip made of plastic. Reason being that in case force is applied the clip will just bend and snap out of the pocket. Should it have been made of aluminium or had plastic this would have been constituted a health and safety hazard should excessive force be applied (law enforcement altercation etc). Hard plastic would snap and crack easily turning into a sharp object. Aluminium unless is a very had alloy would have bent and it would be difficult to get it back in the exact same shape. Also hard aluminium would also constitute a safety hazard in case of excessive force being use (body to body combat etc.) The main issue which I did not address in the review regarding the clip though is that the click wheel that spins the clip around did not feel very sturdy at all. If you look at 1:38 it pins around very easy which makes me think it will loosen up pretty soon with consistent use. I think they should keep it made of rubberised plastic but improve on the click-wheel mechanism that spins the clip as I think that was the weakest point of the clip and maybe make the clip a bit sturdier using thicker flexible plastic.

2:00 the photochromic feature doesn't work as effective in the summer heat as the molecules in the glass that increase in size and block light are temperature dependent. If you were wondering why the photochromic doesn't seem to work it is due to temperature. In the cold environments the lenses go completely dark. This feature is not as useful in hot climate unfortunately as heat impedes the reactivity of photochromic layer to light.

there is no winner or looser in this to my mind. the QB has the better more reliable sound overall however on low volume the Panasonic just can't be ignored. On low volumes the penny really sounds fantastic bright and open however when the volume is increased the acoustics become distorted and the bass . . let's not talk about the bass. QB sounds the same either on low or high volume, no distortion at all however the sound is not as bright and open as the Panasonic. Curious if the newer version of the QB is more open in the mids and highs. Just look at Another Rock with you Panasonic at 2:29 Muso QB at 3:44. Don't know how you feel about it but saying that QB won big is quite a bit of an overstatement.

I still don't see their point of not adding pockets to this jacket to make it as light as possible. To me it's just their marketing basically if you want a jacket with pockets then buy another one, this one is just for running. I don't see what difference 30-50 grams of weight would make.

I've only put this video up as I've sold this bike. I had a look at the two bikes you've mentioned. These are quite expensive bikes. The first thing you should take into consideration is if you have a secure location where to store them at your home and the places you are commuting to. 2nd is how often are you planing to use these bikes to make it worth the investment. In regards to the choice between them, the last sentence of your post gave you the answer. Mtx is design for a bit of off-road every now and again or roads that are uneven whereas the URB . . you get it . . it's an URBan bike. Advantages for the URB over the Mtx are the fact that you get a hub gear instead of regular gears that are exposed to rain and debris. This means that you can also shift gears while the bike is at a standstill. Hub hears also last longer than regular gears. The disadvantage is that you have less range so when going uphill on the first gear it will be harder to push also the URB won't go as fast as the MTX. So if you're a fast rider take that into consideration. I would suggest you have a look at the Boardman HYB 8.8 which comes with DeOre 10 gear instead of URB's 7 gears so it gives you a bit more gear range. Good luck.

Hi there. Thank you for the comments and the recommendations. I'll check your spotify although I'm not in the habbit of being in control of my music and find myself more often than not listening to the radio. I love for example Paradise Radio of California which is a listener supported radio so no adverts. Their music in non-commercial and I often find myself listening to songs I've never heard before. The RX90 is a lovely stereo. I expecially love the wide spatial separation. Comparing to QB here the sound is much brighter there is no question about it however the QB has a much better base response. The panny has a bass boost funciton also but it's not as pleasant as the Mu-So. I loved listening to a wide variety of music on the panny but most of all I've enjoyed ambiental and meditative soundscapes such as deep space music or other minimalist type of music but it handles pretty much everything as though base is not it's strongest point. I put it up on eBay for sale www.ebay.co.uk/itm/333758173248 obviously with local collection as it's quite large. Decided to sell it as I need to move in a few months and need to get rid of the larger items I own but I see your point. If I'd own my place I'd keep it. It's very decent sounding and still goes strong although the casettes obviously would need belts replacing but who uses casettes these days. Maybe just as a novelty. I've seen people online fitting them with bluetooth. Again. Thanks for the spotify link. I'll follow your stuff there.
