I would agree with your ranking of the last 6 albums Michael!!! 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

Betrayed By Love is one of my favs on the album. It has an early 90’s vibe to it like it could have been on a follow up album to Against The Law. The intro riff to When We Were Kings song has RATT vibes.

Fun seeing the action filmed in the car. Was glad you mentioned where it ranked as far as the newer albums.

I think it’s better than the last one Michael. I think it’s time for an outside Producer though.

Love the new scenery!! Video in the car is very cool. Also love the fact that you have a local place to even purchase that cd. I have no local music shops that sell new material, let alone a “Christian” album. I miss real record stores and Christian book stores that sell Christian Rock CDs.
@soldier777823 күн бұрын
There are a couple of record stores locally where I found the CD. One of them have carried Frontiers products, the first Sunbomb record and Stryper GDE on LP and the new CD which I picked up. I even saw the CD on display under new releases which I thought was cool.

Daniel Band's On Rock would be my favourite album out of the Christian rock scene you mentioned. With Rez's Awaiting Your Replay and Colours close behind.

Thanks for the history lesson! The band Apostle was our intro into christian metal and they were great!

Thanks! I may not of covered every single guitar based band that have some songs that were louder or heavier. They were few and far between in the 70s.

Excellent. I’ve thought about doing a video of my Yellow And Black Attack collection. Hard to find the time. Great video!

Oddly enough just before you posted this I filmed a video showcasing BTO's Not Fragile because of it's 50th Anniversary. LOVE Yellow and Black Attack, especially the sound on the '84 version release compared to '86. . Nice you mentioned Roxx Regime as it is excellent too. Wish I had the 2nd release of it, as I wonder if the sound might be upgraded. Nice you did a special video on this, it deserves it.

I always appreciate you sharing from your collection, Michael! Those Petra remasters are superb, and what a release from Greg Minier via Applehead! That's such a great album! Thank you for your continued friendship, brother! Wishing you The Lord's continued blessings! -Kent

Just a suggestion, brother, but you may want to mirror your camera in your settings. Everything is backwards when you show the CD's. Mirroring the camera will fix that. Much love, dude!

Love Stryper's The Covering. Hope they do a bunch of those type albums. Have that Mainline Riders album in my car, and am mentioning them on my next video. Very good album! Love the songs King of Kings and Heaven or Nothing on the Barren Cross. Easy 10/10 songs to me.

Cool LEVITICUS. I also enjoy that Bon jovi album Applehead must be the worse band name ever😂
@soldier77783 ай бұрын
Applehead is an odd name. it seems he should of called it a different name where the musicstyle is different than the Applehead Meaning album that came out in the early 90s which was more alternative grunge sounding which I didn't like. This one has elements of Hard Rock with heavy grooves, Power Metal and speed Metal with a tad of Progressive Metal. That Bon Jovi CD is for my wife.

Excellent cd’s you have there Michael! I also picked those up. Whitecross is excellent, and I like the 2 bonus tracks they added to the deliverance album. I feel it rounds it out nicely. The original version of the cd was a quick listen…now it’s more complete with those excellent songs. Is the remaster on the Bloodgood album worth it to buy? I have the intense version…not sure if it’s better?
@soldier77785 ай бұрын
I have the Intense Millennium version that Roxx released over 10 years ago with the alternate cover. I am keeping that too. Getting the new version is worth it. The sound is better and as I explained comes with a slip cover and a multi page booklet.

I sure disliked it when bands I had really liked switched to a grungy or alternative sound. Made them unlistenable to me. Oh well, maybe it increased their sales so at least they could make a good living playing it. Also, the logo you made for your channel, using the yellow and black Styrper look, plus the Canadian flag in the background looks really good.

The Bible verse, "He who made the ear, can He not hear?" always made perfect sense to me. Praying sounds very logical.
