So is there a way you made your Fanny pack hold 2 instead of one because iv never seen them hold more than 1 each

My character on this game can barely carry a thing, after clothing and a weapon, can opener. I put duffle bag on and it does nothing.

How can you set it to no zombies?

FUN FACT : The Suture Needle Holder can be used in place of the Tweezers to pull glass shards and bullets off of you. New players can leave the tweezers behind.

If your character specializes on short blunt or uses machetes as weapons, you can carry a suitcase or another backpack in your other hand

I always keep a small firearm in the glove compartment. You can roll down the window for drive bys and it just seems super badass.

Trowel/hand fork + saucepan. If things go extremely wrong and you end up injured and having to flee in a random direction for some reason, you can dig for worms to eat and collect rainwater to drink.

I prefer to carry one beer bottle in my main inventory, because then the bourbon bottles in my pack benefit from encumbrance reduction.

I can recommend that you put the generator on the passenger seat (only in a 4+ seat car) as it is crucial to be able to exit the car on the other side in a bad moment. The generator is weighing 40, and car seats are typically only 26 carry space, but it works anyway, and you get 1,5 the effect of the carry space of the seat.

Ngl, you should always carry your clothes on you. The Zomboids love you when your booty out. Those freaks! /jk lol

Why dont u carry food?

It's worth taking paper or a notebook to write notes, reminders, and lists.

biggest thing you missed is a crowbar. useful for moving furniture, prying open windows and barricades, and as a backup weapon if your axe breaks. I typically like having either an axe or machete as my secondary "fuck it we ball" and a crowbar as my primary if im fighting andi want to preserve the zombie's clothing: especially for firefighters or police zombies.

Fanny pack 1: medical supplies -bandages -sterilized bandages -needle, thread (for less serious deep wounds) -suture needle holder -suture neeedles (for serious deep wounds) -alcohol wipes -adhesive bandages (for a temporary fix where a bandage would take too long) Fanny 2: writing supplies + bullets Backpack: spare crowbar/axe + a roast + screwdriver/scissor/saw Main inventory: 2 water bottles (move to backpack when empty)+ stuff on your belt(usually a hammer + wrench) + double holster Car: Glovebox : flashlight + extra battery + non perishable food + water bottle Trunk: sledgehammer maybe if u know youll need it, kinda heavy tho. Lug wrench+jack

I have a meds fanny pack and an "artsy" fanny pack with pens, pencil, rubber and scissors (and whatever the hell I throw in there) and I tend to always have a gun on me because I enjoy the chaos

i like this one house that is near the woods of rosewood its right by the school and is pretty nice spot to base at

I actually avoid the organized trait, as it leads me to carry more than my character has the strength to handle.

Good tips, but how about never running at full height? Or using firearms as the very last resort, given how they tend to attract more zombies than you can realistically kill? And a pipe wrench? Really? Make a spear, the best weapon in the game.

I also recommend having 1-2 spears in the backpack (Unless it is already your weapon of choice). It can dispatch zombies very effectively even when exausted. Saved my ass in multiple occasions.

The fact that a glass alcohol bottle holds more and weighs less than an actual plastic bottle of water has got to be an oversight..

almost the same but with moods so brita armors and bags instead of those tiny ones. it lets me take all of my essentials in one of them. (they have 8 size) + I tend to play with dynamic upgrades to bags, so depending on what I find +1,+2,+3 or +4 to that size. that gives me 2 empty bags for each run I do, so I ususally make one of them a critical bag, and biggest one is assorted junk. "critical" bag is most often perishable food, but tools, or anything else that was "goal" of my scav, is the name of the game. yes those upgrades are a bit OP, but non-cloth are hard to find, so it feels like meaningful progression for your effort.

In this game all I carry is hopes and dreams once I open the shelter's door 😂😂😂

i got confident and shot a couple of zombies in a HUGE parking lot thinking I could handle a horde. that was a bad idea. there were so many zombies that my game was lagging. 😅

The tweezers are completely unnecessary. The suture needle holder acts as tweezers. Vitamins are useless. Taking the whole bottle gives you like 2 mins of extra energy. Suture needle might be slightly better, but I rarely get deep wounds. I would swap it for a second thread. Also I would carry 4 or 5 bandages, 2 water bottles (or 4 if you choose high thirst trait), a knife, two different colored pens, and a piece of paper for notes. Also, carrying both matches and a lighter just makes your inventory list longer.

Solid video. Only thing I would add is I found it really handy if your using an axe or baseball bat to pack wood glue or duck tape. Since using wood glue on a never repaired axe is like carrying a spare for a fraction of the weight.

My biggest problem in this game is that it makes me such a hoarder lol

An easy to setup base is bar near the fan fav mauldrough storage, the one near highway. It has 1 entry that leads straight to stairs. Setup escape ropes and block off the door with an ATM and arcade cabinet and zombies have no entry even if you don't have fan favorite sledgehammer. Its benefit is how easy it is to setup and its location. On inside its average though. Plus that warehouse may have an unwelcome horde so set it up quietly until ready to move into the warehouse or move on to hotel near gunstore or other preferable location.

This one is a classic, spent my first ~200 hours of Zomboid learning the basics there

A fair warning to new players, some of the roofs near the firestation garage has holes in it. Keep this in mind when setting up rain collectors on that side.

I want to carry a long weapon like an Axe or a Baseball Bat on my back, but I just always go the "Short melee weapon on belt, pistol in holster, shotgun/rifle on my back." route.
