Why would they make it such a long-winded procedure. I’d have bought them if it was the usual simple in-app-purchase method. Won’t be going this route. Love you Baby Audio, but this is not going to happen.
@JamieMallender16 сағат бұрын
I think, because it bypasses the App Store. I can see the reasons for that, but I do think that if iOS users are going to purchase presets they deserve to have them look right in the menu.

My favorite is either king of fm or audiokit synth one. (They’re both free, of course!)
@JamieMallender16 сағат бұрын
There are stunning sounds available in both. Remarkable apps. I use King Of FM a lot but I had some issues with the stability of synth one. It’s ok if you get it rendered to real audio quickly though.

I just bought one of those vintage Jaco Pastorius Jazz copies fretted. 200 bucks. I own the Filmore V6 strat (Jimi Hendrix copy) A v100 lemon drop (Peter Green copy) And a vintage reissue V65 in vintage white. All if them excellent guitars. In quality, sound and feel. I own many guitars. U build them as a side hobby/trade. Played and set up from Fender ultras to old 60 Gibsons and everything in between. From a 60bucks student guitar to the high end that doesn't forces you to take on another mortgage. I simply love these vintage reissue and icon instruments.

The Jaco bass was the beginning of my journey with Vintage. I had struggle to get on with playing fretless for years. I had 3 different fretless basses and none of them worked for me. I just picked up the Vintage one at a trade show where I was representing Fret-King and fell in love with it. Suddenly I could play fretless! So I asked if I could be an endorser. ✌️✌️✌️✌️

Ive got the Irig USB and it sound great recording acoustic drums from a Yamaha EAD 10. But as soon as i plug and play with An Alesis Strata Prime from any output. I get a washy choppy slightly inconsistent from the headphone sound. Still comes through but sounds inconsistent. Even with the hot knob set correct so im not running hot. Any tips ?
@JamieMallender6 күн бұрын
Thinking about your problem logically, I can’t see how the issue is the iRig at fault. Presumably the Strata puts out line level so the input will probably want to be very low… what kind of cable are you connecting with?
@LucThebeau6 күн бұрын
@JamieMallender I'm connecting with XLRs directly to the XLR outputs and I also tried the headphone output but both sound the same. I just got a Roland Go mixer pro X and that seem to work alot better with more levels to play with. Also it's seems that different devices capture different sound quality. The Google pixel 8 pro. Not so great. The Samsung S8 tablet. Way better. Really strange. The strata prime is very finicky too what almost to much settings lol I've been having better sond with the Roland Go pro X tho.

On a search for a budget backup I've flipped more than a dozen basses by several brands (Squier, Yamaha, Epiphone, G&L Tribute, Fender MiM, Markbass) and grabbed a lot more from store walls. No bass was a keeper. Now I've come across a used Vintage Icon VJ74. Fantastic neck, great tone, everything right where it needs to be right. Impressive. Yes, the "relic" paint job and the rust is overdone and I wonder why Vintage didn'nt try to take a step back over the years with a little less Patina. But those "worn in" neckes are really a dream to play.
@JamieMallender11 күн бұрын
Absolutely yes! The neck on my VJ74s are the most comfortable I have ever played but the relic one I have is even nicer. It just feels so much better and the hand slides up and down it so much easier. No resistance at it all. It’s just perfect. ✌️✌️✌️✌️

Thanks for watching! I’ve found these 2 sims compliment each other very well. I’ll record a part in, pan it - record again - same sound and pan it the other way. Then stack a different part on top, same process with the other amp. They sit well together but also, it creates a separation just enough to make each part identifiable. ✌️✌️✌️✌️

Too bad Logic Pro doesn’t come with such a channel strip.
@JamieMallenderАй бұрын
There are so many plusses and minus points to both DAWs, I just find it really frustrating at the moment. Logic came out of nowhere with all those features we’ve been pestering for in Cubasis for years are included. But it’s weak in areas Cubasis 3 is really good at. Neither company seems to have any urgency about moving things forward. I honestly believe that my iPad M1 is far more capable for music making than my desktop. But I just got Cubase 14 Pro on the desktop and it’s another world. Nothing missing. Maybe it’s just too small and unprofitable market for the big developers to invest the time in making a DAW that is anything like that complete. ✌️✌️✌️✌️

Would connecting a Spark 2 to an android phone work with this?
@JamieMallenderАй бұрын
I think it works as an interface.. I would have to check but you’d suffer insurmountable latency on an Android device. You would not be able to use the Spark software with Cubasis 3 because the Android operating system does not allow one app to host another or to connect in any way.
@Chaotic_EnigmaАй бұрын
@JamieMallender I had a feeling it would come down to android being a slacker lol
@JamieMallenderАй бұрын
@ it’s such a shame with Android. I wish I could use Android devices to make music the way I can on iOS but after much experimentation I have just had to resign myself to the fact that, the operating system is for consumers and not creatives.
