As I traveled on Saturday June 8 to Neus in Germany the ICE Train was stopped in Cologne Deutz and all people been send down an narrow stair into a tunnel. So many people that nothing have been going on - Like at Loveparade. Then an stupide German Railways Employee decided to anditional other passengers in the opposide direction - I Just escaped and been nearly Sure that Others would die in this Situation. Unbelieveable! Germany did not learn from 2010

i was in a mosh pit once with my wife, Ministry concert in 1998. my wife went into labor and 5 guys stopped and helped us deliver the baby. then they promptly started moshing again and the baby went flying. as far as i know it’s still up in the rafters. 10/10 we’d both do it again 🤘

What's worst about Fyre Festival is that a lot of the tickets that were sold were sold at massive discounts (mind you, still in the mid 100 range). Billy didn't have enough funds from ticket sales to pay back the loans h3 took out to set everything up because tickets were sold at such massive discounts, so expenses were cut everywhere possible. Thus, the gravel lot, the hurricane tents, the shitty sandwiches, etc. Many of these people were lured in by price tags resembling a Disney cruise for something much more luxurious, so a lot of normal non-influencers took the plunge.

Going on and on about the existence of factory, blue collar, solid middle class paying jobs....the horror 🙄. Now pretty much everything everybody bitches about can be traced to the loss of those employers/jobs to overseas.

This video was great!! Made my day. You never said, but did you see "Sublime" with "Bradley's" son as the new lead singer. If so how were they? What I've seen online so far. I think they're good. Glad they did that and are able to go back to the name "Sublime" with "Jakob" taking over for his dad after all this time. Wish I was able to get to go and see all those great bands. See some again and some for the first time. 🤘

I've never been to a violent concert. I 'did' once go to an outdoor concert one rainy day when I was about eight years old, it was supposed to be an all classic rock concert, headlined by REO Speedwagon, but the opener cancelled for some reason, and promoters made the last minute call to a local band who only played the most popular Rock at the time, (Creed, Alice In Chains, etc. It was the 90s). Long story short, younger people were there, and kinda rowdy from the 90s hard Rock and the rain, and I found myself getting dragged into a huge mud pit by some teens, who wrestled me into the mud, smeared it all over me, threw it on me, by the time they were done, every inch of me was a greyish brown shade of earth! It was at a beach, thankfully I was planning to take a dip, so I only had my swimming trunks on, not good clothes! Shortly after, I was back with my parents, who were close to the stage, REO Speedwagon was performing, and frontman Kevin Cronin apparently saw me in my muddy glory, and threw his COLD cup of water right on me... I stood there frozen, mouth wide open dripping with his water and that mud, it was a sight!😅

I saw the poster a couple months ago on FB and my jaw dropped. I listened to many bands of these for decades but some I never had the chance to listen to them live (Black Flag, Fear, Misfits, The Exploited, etc.) I wish I could be there, but I live in Europe. Thank you for this video!

Honorable mention: The Station Nightclub Fire in Rhode Island, 2003. Technically not a concert/music festival, but basically Jack Russell (of Great White fame) got a new band to do a tour of the Northeast. Pyrotechnics were lit in the small venue night club which was covered in flammable foam, leading to a fire. There was only 1 exit the front door (the other being blocked by a bouncer) which created a human stampede. Over 100 people died and hundreds more injured. An absolute massive fuck up by the night club owners and the fire marshall who failed to point out the violations during his visit.

With the exceptions of The Jam, Ramones, and The Clash. The Jam ain't never getting back together due to Paul Weller & Rick Buckler not speaking to each other since 1982. Weller and Bruce Foxton are on fine terms. The Ramones ain't back because all of the members have died. Well, the classic lineup. Joey and Johnny Ramone stayed the entire time, despite having different viewpoints. Dee Dee Ramone left the band to go on a hip hop career which didn't go so well and ended up dying of a heroin overdose. Tommy Ramone left the band and ended up being a producer. He passed in 2014, the last original member to pass. Marky Ramone, the best of the drummers in the band is doing well and playing his own version of The Ramones and keeping their legacy alive. The Clash can never get back together because Joe Strummer passed in 2002. But for the punk bands that are still around or came back together, I'm happy for them!

I was upfront during the misfits and you are correct about the crowd crush. A girl had a seizure, people were throwing up/jumping over the railing to get out and I saw a few people pass out completely and needing to be crowd surfed to security. Their set was awesome tho

Let me just say, as someone who attended blue ridge rock fest in 2022, and 2023, it was absolutely awful. They were NOT prepared for the amount of people there, people were consistently passing out from heat, exhaustion, and dehydration. We were told we weren’t allowed to bring in our own drinks, and that there would be free water stations. No one could find the water stations. Many people ended up in the medical tents solely for dehydration, and heat issues. For the one day last year that didn’t end horribly, it was okay, we brought our own drinks despite what we were told. Also received a survey after the fest, saying the water from the singular water station that we could actually find, was contaminated. They refused to give out refunds. Weather caused major issues, including people losing their entire tents and having no one where to sleep in the extreme wind and rain. Losing their food, water, personal items. Last two days got canceled, and first day ended early. They then trapped all the people that were staying there, the last two days and refused to let people leave. People were literally throwing food over the gates that they closed. Having tiny riots, trashing shit, etc. I don’t think the porters were even cleaned once, which was absolutely foul. Showers were $10, on top of absolutely insane prices for literally any beverage or food item. 2022, wasn’t too bad, no where near as bad as last year, but it was still rough. Price gouging still existed, they were underprepared, etc etc. overall. Don’t recommend. Just don’t even try it. I could be wrong, but I heard a few people even passed away. It was rough.

I just found this video and got to say I am still huge fan of bands like Mayhem and Emperor though their line ups have changed lot since those days but when it comes to something like lost prophets though I've never heard of them before ian watkins case or as I lay dying which I knew but never was fan of then no... I definitely wouldn't ever support them again after these crimes even if I was big fan before 😂

FIDLAR was my first ever concert so it was great to see them again, full circle moment. I was crunched between everyone during the Adicts but the energy blew up when they opened with Let’s Go.
