Did we forget the Japanese because we all saw that Mitsubishi zero in the trailers right?

Dial is very good, way better than Skull imo but definitely not as good as the OGs

Interesting to note is that this part of the adventure was set during 1950, while the fourth movie, Kingdom of the Crystal Skull is set in 1957. Those must’ve been a rough 7 years for Indy. 😂

And if they were to do sets, it would be nice to get some based on Dial. the train from the prologue would be great!

It would be kind of crazy, but very cool if they produced LEGO sets based on the game.

Love the marketing push and hope this excites younger generations about Indy! I showed my nephew the gameplay preview and he was loving the journal piece and I said “Yea this is Indy… he’s a badass but also smart!”😊

I wish they had kept this look when they made Crystal Skull. Here he looks like he's aging gracefully, but still has that wink in his eye. In Crystal Skull it felt like they were just outright ignoring that Ford was in his 60's, which unintentionally made him seem older and more bitter.

I just hope the game can save the franchise. I have been a huge fan all my life and it hurts to see how irrelevant Indy seems to be. Star Wars on the other hand gets every attention since 40 years. And despite the flop of Dial, it is criminal that there was no merch

The fact that Great Circle's marketing is being compared to Dial's shows how much the video game industry has grown. Video games are now on par with blockbuster films. As someone who grew up with an NES this still blows my mind. The main reason I think Great Circle is getting better marketing is because Dial's budget was ridiculously inflated, particularly due to the pandemic. I don't know exactly how Hollywood budgeting works or how it ties into licensing, but I suspect that by the time the film came out they only had so much left they could spend on marketing. I loved Dial of Destiny, but I can see why it wasn't as well received as the original trilogy. People want to see Indy in his prime and unless you make an entire film with a de-aged Harrison Ford that just can't happen anymore. The Great Circle has the potential to do what Dial and to some extent, Crystal Skull couldn't.

Of course everyone knew Dial was going to be a turd. It's an Indiana Jones movie made by people who don't care about Indiana Jones. Even Harrison Ford looked like he didn't want to be there.

A blimp with a hanging Indy dangling from it. That is unspired.
