Righty tighty? It goes “lefty tighty” if the chain saw is above you. You specifically mean “Looking from the top, force it left to right, to tighten.” Why not get simple: clockwise closes the deal; counter clockwise destroys. I’m sure hoping the clocks always run the right way, or my car will disassemble.

The engineer who came up with this set up had been unemployed for ten years before Kubota hired him.

I sold all my flippy caped STIHLs i would spend 10 minutes ensuring cap was on right , only to hook onto a bush & caps off & petrol all down your leg now I don’t even own one & no more problems. All screw caps for me

These caps are utter shit, does anyone make a normal replacement. Much easier to use a screw driver to open it especially with gloves on

before changing coil. check contact at end of plug wire to the plug, remove the plug boot check the contact wire spring at end of wire that connects to the plug and check for corrosion,,, if you have corrosion just repair it... sometimes you got to check the end of the wire... just say`n

Bought this for my small back deck in the Eastern Sierra. kzbin.infoUgkxoHYZbq5g9fkcAtinlTqstNlje-UQkCHN We get A LOT of HEAVY snow so I was a bit skeptical but it was worth it! After the first storm of the year this has exceeded expectations! It throws snow very well, even 10-12” + that said the more it piles up the harder it is to maneuver the machine. It is exceptionally light weight and overall exactly what I was looking for. If you have a large amount of snow and a lot of area to clear, you may consider something with a drive engine to help maneuverability, but for decks, second stories, roofs etc, you can’t beat the light weight to great snow throwing ratio. Side note, the chute rotator is a bit flimsy and it initially didn’t seem to work, after a few uses it seems to have loosened up.

i have basically the same mower i'm working on for a customer and have installed a brand new belt. The transmission turns but very slowly. the belt is snug and tight but the transmission does'nt move the mower. I can't find a troubleshooting guide to diagnose if the transmission is bad without removing it and trearing it down. what else can cause the wheel to not engage As i said , it turns slowly. I can raise the back wheels and see the tires turning but as soon as i put it back down it won't move. thanks for any advice.

I had a model older than this one that I love. My sister has difficulty with tools that are too heavy and she actually loved mine and found it easy to use kzbin.infoUgkx_rBCFuDW1zD6blTGhLkvAkxU657uR_lG . This is a newer model but was even lighter which she really appreciates. She enjoys it and I no longer have to go to her house to trim as she can handle it fine. Haven't used it enough to comment on the battery life but lithium batteries last longer than the old style. Being cordless makes it easy to trim the far edges of the property. The entire yard can be trimmed with one charged battery.

Brand new off the sales floor my SRM-225 has so much vibration it causes my employee’s hand to go numb within 10-15 minutes of use. Their hands are numb well after the work day and into the night. I do not experience hand numbing when I use it; however, there is more vibration in this unit than even my first crappy Ryobi 30cc I bought used off of Flea-bay 13 years ago. I should have ponied up the extra cash and bought a Stihl trimmer, which I will be doing next month after I pay some bills. I will probably end up selling this Echo on Fleabay to anyone willing to buy a lightly used trimmer for 20-25% less than sticker price.

The oil cap of MS250 is the detail which keeps on bugging me. It seems impossible to get it done properly. And then cap falls and all oil drained to your pant or pavement. I hate this plug in so good and powerful saw. A pain in my ass.
