how much does something like this cost? in terms of how much the wrap was and how much the labor was?
@DarkZeroMotors Жыл бұрын
There are some variations where price comes in. Depending on the size of the car, the type of vinyl the person chooses, the complexity of the car as well as where the car is getting wrapped all play part in the price.

You make it look so easy lol . I try to wrap my F-150 and I buy a piece of wrap from Amazon, 5x9 cost me around $65 dollars, but unfortunately for me even with all the 10k reviews on Amazon 4.5 starts . I found out that the wrap that you used is better or different form the one I buy. Cuz the one I buy it is “IMPOSSIBLE” to work with! I try to do what you do in the video but that mirror effect you said in the video. I never get it lol all I get was a lot of wrinkle all over the wrap and there was no way that I would do it with that wrap. It is close to fuchsia yes. A lot of colors aren’t being made right now because of material shortages but I remember Avery made it. If you’re looking to get some now look into teckwrap, kpmf, and such brands. Not the best but definitely not the worst

When you remove the wrap can you see a difference in the paint that wasn’t wrapped?
@DarkZeroMotors2 жыл бұрын
Depending on the sun exposure on the wrap. This truck is in NY so you will not be able to, it’ll look the same. If a car is from Arizona/Texas where the sun is really intense, some paint fading will happen on the paint that’s exposed

How do you phase the rotor??
@DarkZeroMotors2 жыл бұрын
Point the rotor to piston #1 then put the clear phasing cap on the rotor. Rotate the housing of the distributor until the two pins line up inside the clear cap. You're done!
@philh92382 жыл бұрын
What pins you mean??
@DarkZeroMotors2 жыл бұрын
There are two small pins right next to each other on top of the distributor housing. They are about a 1/4 in tall
@philh92382 жыл бұрын
Maybe mine is different mine is on a dodge. Bugg tv phasing the rotor should be the same principle I’d imagine
@DarkZeroMotors2 жыл бұрын
Could be. But yes phasing is pretty much the same
@gabehawthorne85542 жыл бұрын
Just bought sniper compenents. hyper spark and all of that. Only question is because the distributor rotor is based off of a points system, couldn't the rotor techincally face anywhere at TDC and as long as your wires are long enough to reach the designated terminals it would still work?
@DarkZeroMotors2 жыл бұрын
Technically yes. The rotor on the inside of the distributor still has to face spark plug #1 during install. Everything has to sync up during handheld setup
