In 1966 and 1967, I lived in a 600 year old house in Essex, England. My dad was in the military, and he was stationed there for 2 years. I was only 3 and 4, so I didn't really understand ghosts, but I had SOOOO many experiences with ghosts there. They were not nice ghosts!! It is something I remember to this day. I'm 61 now. But I loved living in England. It was a beautiful country and the people were so nice!! I lived at a place called Rotten End Farmhouse. It was a huge, gorgeous old house! Anyway, thanks for these stories!!

in 2008 i was in an awful place mentally and attempted something bad. i jumped from the tay bridge in dundee. in the water, i heard the voice of my gran telling me it wasnt my time and something was coming soon that i had to be around for........a few months later i fell pregnant with my one and only child. I dont know if it was just my mental state or not but i want to believe she made sure my wonderful son was born. xx (Also i have had a crush on you for many many years lol. Thought you'd find that funny)

Richard. I spent over 12 years doing paranormal investigations. I never saw a ghost....BUT....Some members of my team did!!!! Perhaps I'm not sensitive to ghosts, but I believe there is something to all this.. Thanks and have a great new year.... Barry.

i used to be in the police in york and worked from the old Clifford street police station. Both of my parents and aunty were in the police and worked from there as well in the 70s. in number 4 cell there was several prisoners committed suicide in victorian times and was allegedly haunted by them. working nights on my own one night a figure caught the corner of my eye and disappeared into what was the old cell corridor

A few years back myself & my ex had visited an old hotel up in the mountains in California. We were in the hotel bar having drinks talking away the night. I could see the bar & the door leading into the bar from our table. It must have been somewhere between 1-1:30 AM I kept noticing a young girl around 7 years of age running behind the bar then walking out the door to the lobby. This went on for around a half an hour. I told my company and she also noticed this child and her running back & forth repeating her actions over & over. All the while no one talked to her & she spoke to no one. We both discussed why a child was running into the bar at 1:30 in the morning with no parents around. It was a mystery to us. I last saw her skipping to the right of the door down the hallway. We walked out & we both immediately turned to our right expecting to see her , but instead there was a locked door to the dining room. Lights were turned off in the room, since the doors had windows we could plainly see. It wasn't until the following week we read about the haunted history of the hotel. The most famous ghost is a little girl in a dress that drowned in the pool. Now I know that ghosts are real & they are not see through or bloody or with death shrouds, they can look just like a real person

When the siren background sound effect stopped around 7min I could really start to relax and enjoy your story but then it started again 😩 with headphones it sounds like somebody doing metal works in the background, not ideal for bedtime. Much better without 👍🏼 Perhaps go with something like wind and rain sound effects or a crackling fire. Great story telling though! Merry Christmas 🎅 🎄 👻

The second story had me in tears.s So special to know George came to see his baby grandson. They do live in and are still connected to us. Made me so happy to hear her story. I’m grateful she shared it. I just ordered your book The People’s Ghost Stories from Amazon in US. It’ll arrive in only a few days. Thank you Richard! I’m a big fan of yours for many years. Can’t wait to read it. Merry Christmas to you and yours!🎄🥰

In the first story, it’s interesting the neighbor dad felt the need to tidy up the toys in the yard at 3:30am even tho he said his daughter hadn’t been sleepwalking. This could indicate the other toys were moved around by something else that night.

5-10 mins to ''alert the neighbours''...ffs! Imagine had it really been the next door neighbour's little girl at that time of the day! Most people would have been out like a shot to check on the baby's safety...

Just come across your channel, The Skirrid Inn, my wife was baptised in the Church Next door and her Aunt and Uncle were the Housekeepers, the first time I visited, I only got as far as the Toilet, I had the most horrible sence of foreboding and left and sat outside to have my coffee, have been back many times and each time I have walked inside to the bar area and it happens each and every time, never had the chance to sit inside, just weird and disconcerning feeling as soon as I step over the threshold, Surprising that this feeling is encountered even when I have driven through the arch to park the car, Great video of all the different places which I know well, well done, have subscribed.
