Hi , thanks for the comments, the triumph was good in every department except for 2 up riding when you needed to manually adjust the rear suspension , the power delivery was brilliant, it just ooooses power, the brakes were good and the handling one or 2 up was good .. I did change the tyres to mich 5s and made a massive improvement, although the 4s were ok..no passenger complaints and overall satisfaction is tight up there…… However I’m back into an XR1000 … new video to follow .. good luck

Hi, yea the X-r was amazing but that much power can’t be used all the time… I always felt I was the hunter however the triumph delivers what’s needed and in the sport mode the feeling is similar to the X-r in road mode.. a win win I think… the price also played a major factor in change as well as not being able to do the continent .. take care

thanks for the reply, I have tried a power bronze screen that made absolutely no difference and now onto the MRA screen that has made an immediate difference for the better and I'm sure I can fine adjust it more ... the buffeting I was experiencing would have ended in the change of bike, but I'm happier now.. hi, I fitted the power bronze screen but it made not a difference ( maybe my height) but now have an MRA screen fitted with an immediate improvement , and i think i can fine tune it more... i have a power bronze for sale now if your still looking.. good luck..

I've bought a 2020 model with 3000miles on and found the right hand mirror vibrates more than the left and also the right hand bar more than the left..weird!!!!

@@davejohnson9499 Got the dealer to check out the vibration on the bike. They sorted most of it (somehow) but the mirrors still vibrate.

@@philiplaurell1163 I refer to the 955i which has a better overall build for trips and a more durable engine. 1050 is nice 👌 I'm not gonna lie, but it's restricted to on road use and you simply can't go where you can with the previous models. I'm not trying to offend anybody, I'm just saying what the reality of things is. Also in case you don't know the 1050 has the same exact engine as the 955i which I'm referring to, and the only difference is that 1050 engine is hyper-cranked and that's the reason why they suffer with their pistons and high temperatures, which also means that it's not a good thing to deal with. Just saying..

I couldn't knock the xr but the price and what I get from the tiger all matches in my head.. keep on biking

The XR is a much better bike in terms of capabilities and overall greatness. The Triumph Tiger 1050 is an angry mouse by comparison. Have owned both bikes.
