I ordered that Guppyhill patch kit. Prepped the siding, it didn't stick. I hate vinyl siding.

I greatly dislike vinyl siding. It just looks and is cheap and can warp in really hot weather.

I used JB Weld with a piece of left over siding to cover the crack/hole.

That tool ur talkin about is a sideing zipper tool an ya probly ought go ahead an find u one cuz u can see u didnt get the lok lip locked bak in. But good vid all the same

Anyone can learn how to do this properly. I think she was lazy and rushed this video for content. She showed mostly the right order of operations but failed to execute them properly and left her unit only half serviced. It's better than it was. It'd been better if she acknowledged she did a half ass job. That's what i think people should push instead of saying just spend the few hundred and have professional do it, say if your going to do it yourself be patient, meticulous, and careful.

It's Georgia Pacific siding color is clay. Just go buy a piece of siding and replace it. Stop with the moronic "fixes"!

luckily l have white siding so I fill hole with white caulk and then paint over the patch. and try to remember to turn the mower away from the house next time.
