They are not bad for the price. I put one on a 10 ft Diawa Beefstick Rod with 20 lb mono and 15 yards of 60 lb shock leader. Casting a 4 oz sinker I got roughly 130 yard casts, about like a levelwind Abu. The centrifugal breaking system is not up to the Abu Reels and is on all the time or off all the time with no adjustments possible. As a backup to my Abu it's great. Otherwise spend a little more on your primary reel.

That don't look moderate fast looks like it's bending throughout the whole blank. Usually a slow rod there? Fast is in the tip and moderate fast should be almost half way through blank

Great video - I was just about to order this rod but when you lifted that weight up and it bent in half - no way. I'm targeting 30-60# cats in rivers. If it bends that much with 5# - well, you see that's not gonna be the optimal rod for big fish. Again - thanks - you saved me a headache.

Great review, brother. I had one of these years ago, long about the time they first came out. They were once printed right here in the USA. I loved that. I then gifted it to a young brother just starting his walk, and I reordered it. Now printed in China. Disappointed in that. But, it's a great bible, it's one of a kind, and it's still God's word. So, can't really complain too much, and it doesn't do any good anyway. All that said, great video, great channel, and I've subscribed. God bless.

I bought a fire stik a few weeks ago, and I too put a ming yang cl60 on it. Mine has Berkeley big game high vis green 30 lb mono on it. It casts great. I caught a few 2-3 lb channels on it, but earlier today I caught a 15.6 lb flat head on it. The rod was bent far, I was actually glad when it pulled drag bc I wasn't to sure of the rod holding up. It done fine, I guess the more fish I catch on it the more confidence I will have in it

I got 2 of the left hand 60 and I have almost 7 months with them and in my opinion it's junk they break down & parts fall off so now I own 6 Penn Phantom and it out perform the chaos

Looks like an Ancient Mariner 6000. Even the reel seat or mount is the same. Even the printed numbers match and the number and placement of the rings that help stop the line from slipping on the spool are the same. Everything right down to the specs are the same. Only the logo on the left side of the reel is missing.
