Hamare yahan asal mai logon ko baat nahi kerni aati. Agar bahu ya saas ki koi baat buri lagi hai tou directly bahu/saas se baat karon bechare shoher ko beech mai gaseetne ki kya zarurat hai. Khud se communicate kerna nahi aata? Aapka aapas mai koi relationship nahi hai? Agar hamay sahi se rehna aata ho aur dusaron ki boundaries ko respect karain tou joint family system is a great idea. It's cost effective, nobody has to be alone, in fact people can help each other out

what I figured it out is this type of love where authority and sacrifice is taught by religious scholars too besides parents. Its become embeded in cultural and religious psychology as norm. Its a big job to make mind shift… Its amazing what you are teaching.
