Its been several years since I bought that silencer. I think I bought it from Sportsman's Guide for $179. It was the stainless steel model and I don't know if they still make them in stainless. It really made a difference. Very quiet.

Not sure how much Academy has it for, but I got mine new online about a year ago for $139 shipped. I like this bow better than the Black Hunter (mainly the look) which is another very affordable bow. Best of luck whatever you decide.

I have a 03 recon. Does anyone know if this setup would work also.
@ReconRokon6 ай бұрын
Yes, it should work, but all tire mfg's sizes run a little larger or smaller than others. I ended up selling mine, but never had any issues while I had it. Keep in mind that by putting a 24" rear tire, you gain top end, but lose a little out of the hole. With the factory 22", I could wheelie the quad, but with the 24" it would not wheelie. Just not enough low end torque.

@ReconRokon Жыл бұрын
My only concern would be overheating. They make a temperature stick that looks like a crayon (they come in different heat ranges) You wipe it on and run the engine. If the mark melts, the engine got too hot. If it doesn't melt you are Okay.

Honestly, it really depends on your form. I've seen people shoot just as accurate with a 48" bow as a 72". The longer bows are more forgiving to bad form.

hello, please tell me how you dealt with the central foot with this silencer, because I ordered the same one and put it on and when I fold the foot, it rubs against the chain because on the original exhaust there is a bumper for the central foot.
@ReconRokon Жыл бұрын
I honestly don't know what a "central foot" is. Are you referring to the rider foot pegs? You must have a different year than mine because my original exhaust didn't have any "bumper" on it. Also, do you own the one with a automatic clutch? That model could be different. I didn't have any issues with mine. I'd love to help you, but not quite sure whats going on.
@Sepa9910 Жыл бұрын
@@ReconRokon I mean the central foot, which is located under the motorcycle, which after replacing the exhaust with ko lighting, as I leave it, catches my chain because on the original muffler there was a blockade to lower the foot under the motorcycle to a certain point.
