Don't get much truth like this in a day in age where Dispensational-futurist perspective dominates the current landscape and people seem to be focused more on the rapture; (2nd) coming of Christ to gather His bride for a temporary 7 year escape followed by (3rd) coming of Christ to earth for a literal 1,000 year temporary kingdom prior to the final (4th?) Coming of Christ for the final judgment, (re)resurrection of the dead consummation of His kingdom and creation of the new heavens and earth... People need to leave behind John Darby's theories, the "Left behind" and "Late Great planet earth" books/movies, and let Bible interpret itself with the guidance of the Holy Spirit. Let Bible interpret itself and Biblical truth (Amillennial eschatology) is what everyone will end up with. Thank you for posting the truth.

First Witness is Spirit of God and second Witness is Truth of God. When these Two Spiritual Witnesses are combined together they represent Holy Spirit which is Spirit of Truth with which all true believers are filled. The death of the Two Witnesses means silencing the Words of God and the Gospel. Of course it is impossible to kill the Spirit of God, however Holy Spirit (Spirit of Truth) is represented by physical Christians when they talk about the Words of God, preach the Gospel and promote it. So when Satan will kill physical Christians (many of them not just two) it will appear that they really killed them and that's why they will keep their dead bodies on the streets to be sure that they are really dead and not resurrected like Lord Jesus Christ. And when they come to life again it is the manifestation of Power of God by resurrecting the dead. I believe this is the prelude to the Rapture when they ascend up to Heaven at the end of 2nd woe which is 6th Angel. The Seventh Angel will sound the last trumpet which is 3rd woe, and the Rapture and the end of the world will begin. It’s not possible that these 2 Witnesses are 2 individual men because the number 1260 days is the same number and period of time which is in Rev. 12: 6 which is the period of the entire church age to the end of the world, which means thousands of years and of course no 2 individual men can live thousands of years. knowing that this took place 2015 at a Church grace community that Has different views concerning grammatical historical hermeneutics is interesting. Note gk beale is my goto guy for the More interesting hermeneutics that is kinda controversial in Modern church theology. this church is Israel/church dispensational to the core. gk beale believes and it soooo true that if Christ re does so to speak and fulfills what isreal couldnt accomplish well this makes Christ sort of like an Israel in HImself kinda i can see that point. Christ is the Head of israel isreal the nation is and was not the Messiah per se but Christ is the New Isreal and the Moshiach at the same time. Christ just didnt merely come to do the work For Israel of what they couldnt do themselves.

What a blessing to put this lecture online. I think I'm going to have to listen a few more times and buy the book to get the full picture. So thankful that Dr. Beale BELIEVES God's good purposes in the Bible and doesn't just write off what's difficult to understand. Praise God!

59:58 - identify direct uses of the OT in the NT 1:02:23 - Matt. 2 (fulfillment formula "it has been written"). Micah 5:2 is a Messianic prophecy, even in Judaism.

The healing of Isa 53 indicates the blessing of both spiritual and physical healing will be the result of christ death as an atonment. By this it points out the messianic kingdom will bring about both spiritual and physical healing. Hence to show he is the suffering servant whose death will being the kingdom and its blessing, Jesus healed the sick and forgave sinners . Thus by this he showed himself to be the servant if Gid who is also the Messiah that will bring healing according to Isa 32.
