The calculator has several mistakes, such as, when changing to grams, it doesn't change the unit. When entering a weight atop, you still need to enter the same weight in the soap category. It doesn't produce instructions of how to make it, especially cold or hot soap. It needs to be improved

Thank you for your reply. Yes there is one bug that has been haunting me for a long time with that unit of measurement in my javascript, but fortunately it does report the math correctly for your end result, so it is a thing i have to put down and come back to with fresh eyes after some time. There is no way i am going to write instructions for making the entire project to accompany the calculation. This would be a bad idea, because if you don't know how to make soap with a recipe, then you don't know how to proceed with the safety precautions. I do however, have hundreds of video tutorials that show this along with formulas that you can print along side at CottageDIY.com. This is a much safer way to learn soap making. Thank you for your attention to detail and contribution. It is comments like this that do help me make things better.......

Can’t believe someone from singer is turning that hand wheel backwards we all know the wheel should be turned towards you only
@CottageDIY2 ай бұрын
Don't let your rituals become a religion. When there is no thread in the machine you can turn it either way. It will not harm your machine.

This machine doesn’t need manual turning of the wheel. It has a button to lower the needle and up the needle

Its a very good feature on a sewing machine!

Why are you rotating the wheel to the back everyone knows you only turn a singer wheel no matter what the age only to the front. Toward you. Wow can’t believe that

Makes no difference when there is no thread in the machine. Yay for tutorials! Everyone get's to learn.

Thanks for this! I quilted one baby blanket by hand years ago. It was a labor of love. Can't wait to try your course on my new sewing machine. :)

I’ve never seen the basting pins before
@CottageDIY9 ай бұрын
Do you use just regular pins?

Why do you chain piece them?
@CottageDIY9 ай бұрын
Chain piecing them helps with speed once you really get going, but also this will keep those patchwork squares in order so that you can sew the entire column and the pieces won't get mixed up before you get to the next stack.
