Are those concrete sleepers the same as gravel boards?

if your going to make a wall fence / hollow blocks six inches thick ,where is the center of your wall?

Great idea, I really don't worry about cost, if I did I would not be watching something that I knew previously that cost money. It seems like some people have their own opinions about this fence, if concrete and aluminum rust, that's a new one on me, my new idea thanks to you is that I will use HARDBOARD, and perhaps cedar boards in the middle to support the metal roof sheets. The wind doesn't bother me either, because what ever happens, happens, a brick wall will come down in certain conditions. Thank you for this video,

this sheet metal fence is a trend right now because it's cheap. In reality, it's a horrible product, not better than wood. It dents too easily and looks like your property is surrounded by seacans (shipping containers). The best fencing material to use is heavy-duty metal posts with composite, aluminum or wood boards.

In terms of exact position, if you're installing a colorbond fence between your property & your neighbours property, does the colorbond fence go: A) Aligned across the center of the boundary string (i.e - if not removed the string would still exist in the very center of the depth of the colorbond fence) B) On your neighbours side of the boundary string C) On your side of the boundary string

I can kiss your parents right now‼️🥰💃🙏🏾🤸🏾♀️. I'm about to erect a fence in my backyard. I have lots of galvanize and I want to recycle them. But, didn't want it to look ... 🥴😳. I also wanted a concrete base about a foot or so high. And , didn't want to have a trench full of concrete or blocks. I will make my own concrete panels for the base and just dig holes for post. 🤗🤗🤗🥰🤭😚😚😚 Hi from Trinidad and Tobago 👋🏽🇹🇹

How do you let water drain to the lower side if you bury the bottom? I'm guessing they intend to pour concrete graded for proper drainage to the street. If not you just showed people living in a hilly neighborhood how to flood their yard and house.
@mrtensed3 жыл бұрын
Firstly the fence doesn't create a watertight boundary, secondly even if it did the fence does not border the whole house...

Very nice explanation. Just What I was looking for. How high are the sleepers and how many can you stack up together. Don’t you need some drainage behind it?

Perfect! but the bottom of a post between 2 plinth boards is still under the ground a little bit, which will be rusted I believe.

I live in Queensland and I believe all boundary pins were timber back then and did rot out. Do you know if there has been a change throughout Australia to Metal pegs. Thanks.
@GingrBreadMan5 жыл бұрын
i'm not sure honestly for austrailia, but those timbers are just used for easily identifying where the pins are. As far as I know every property has pins unless they were removed which at least in the USA it's illegal.
@GingrBreadMan5 жыл бұрын
best advice i can give is get a metal detector and learn how to use it... biggest piece of advice there is a target feature on most of them and that alone will save you a hell of a lot of hassle and try to easily locate one pin, most properties at least in suburban areas are square so you can get a better idea of where the rest of the pins go. In the USA pins are set a foot outside towards the house from the sidewalk and usually sits on the lines in the concrete walkway. also be warned sometimes contractors remove the pins so there is a chance you might not locate the pins & i have found pins underneath the sidewalk which is a huge pain in the rear.

This is a beautiful fence, is system available in the U.S.A & how does it stand up to high winds? If it available in the US can refer me to dealer. Thanks & I found the video very informative.
@Two_Bluebirds4 жыл бұрын
Jeff, you might be able to import the fencing panels from www.outbackfencing.com.au They have a cyclone grade for high wind regions. Your $US is very strong in Australia right now, so it may be a good time to buy. No harm finding out. All the best.
