Hi! Love this for so many reasons. Question - around minute 10:15 you mention not using forms in Notion (due to the client accidentally editing the form), but I see that Notion Forms is an entry form, whereby, it seems there isn't an edit option (I'm literally just learning about this, so maybe this is incorrect). But, if indeed, Notion Forms is a thing (and isn't editable) would you still advise against using it?

Hi there! Thanks for pointing this out. I released this video even before Notion Forms was in Beta. Now that Notion form is live, I highly recommend using it. Personally, I still use a free form builder (Tally) which I shared on this video (kzbin.info/www/bejne/moiZdYSeiMlmgKs) because it has more powerful features at the moment.

im curious why you have a process checklist in the reference list which clients can view but the task list is only viewable to you, for your workflow your proccess checklist looked more detailed do you hide that page somehow from clients?

Sure! Happy to clarify. I found that my clients get overwhelmed when seeing all the tasks. The checklist is a simplified view for them so they can focus on THEIR deliverables. I also work with my team and contractors on some tasks and I want our tasks to not be visible to the client.

To avoid overlap of the text and button, I recommend adding a link within the same text block. And then styling the link as a button using css.

Hi there, great video. Do you have any idea how I would force the scrolling block to be always paused? So there is never any motion on it. I like the full width wave but find the scrolling a bit distracting. Thanks!

Hi there! Sorry we haven't found a way to disable the animation in the marquee. But if the device is set to "Reduce Motion", Squarespace respects this user preference.
