My 2016 f250 xlt was blowing cold as ice then room temperature on and off. Checked Freon, it was ok. Changed the evaporator core temp sensor, no change, changed the pressure switch as shown in this video and it fixed it. Definitely cut the window behind the glove box to change the evap sensor, it’s a 15 minute job versus pulling the entire dash and the top off the hvac box. Pressure switch was Murry brand at oriellys and was $39 vs non available motorcraft for $109. In 2024. Hell of a price increase from when he bought his.

Getting ready to upgrade mine. I got a new radio, and the Car Toyz store who installed it told me that it was going to cost me another $600 for them to install an HD camera, and that they were going to have to run a whole new line, and that it wasn't just a plug and play like. That's just criminal! I knew that it had to be simple like that. I just knew it. It only makes sense.

Thank you for this! The instructions were not great and your video was super descriptive. One detail I noticed, is that my unit didn't come with that safety pin at the base of the left arm as you showed. Unfortunately, my Sole F85 would not power up. I could see the power was connected as the light on the power button lit up. The console stayed black and start button never responded. The safety key was in place. I took everything apart and checked all the connections. No pinching and everything was connected correctly. So......will call technical service on Monday, as they're closed on weekends. REALLLLLY disappointed for the expense of this unit. Should have bought something from Academy!

Thanks Guys! I installed it today May 31, 2024. Took a bit of effort to get connection off but got it following your instructions. When pulling the cable though, there was a cable support a little above the connection, I used a flat screw driver to pop it out and then side cutters to cut it loose from the cable. What an improvement, sharp and clear image. The wide angle view will take a bit to get familiar with. Highly recommend this product. Installed in my 2015 Silverado LT.

thank you wires came apart on battery.........found it on ground with solar in one spot battery in another and machine in a 3rd............just needed confirmation of joinng black to black to neg on battery,,,,,,,,thanks!~

Great vids. Hope you didn’t have to take to dealer. My dealer’s diag skills are a joke. Was having same ac issue and took it for diag. First time they said “no issue. Just needs Freon.” Worked for a day, then started blowing hot again. Took it back to dealer for another diag. This time they said the entire system needs to be replaced and they quoted me $5,500 (evap core, compressor, lines, and condenser). Seems to me they haven’t a clue what’s really wrong with it, and their plan is just to replace it all on my dime to ensure the issue is taken care of. That said, will use your vids to do a proper diag myself.

My a/c pressure reads about 680 and only drops to about 640 is that normal or high. Checking with for scan laptop

Great option. Just picked up a 2014 Silverado for my daughter. Not impressed at all with the camera. I’ll replace with this camera and probably a Wolfbox rear view & front view mirror camera. A little redundant but it also records. I wonder how this new camera would look on an upgraded head unit. Maybe I’ll find out. Thanks for the vid

I’ve been going through this with mine too. I was gonna tell you guys you could put a piece of black gorilla tape over that speaker inside the box so you’re not announcing to the neighbors within 10 miles that you’re leaving and going but you can still be aware by the beep instead of turning completely off. You can still hear the beeps, but it’s not so piercing. There is nothing as annoying as after you hear the Zombie Lock lock, the few seconds of gritty anticipation, then you hear the click and the gate swings open! Arrrrgh!!!

Issues I had with my Zombie gate lock, background I did troubleshooting with Ghost Representative, concluded bad lock. I did further investigation and determined one of the wires had an open short, I found a company that sold a three wire cable and replaced it. The next issue I had was the lock being out in the elements created corrosion I put a socket on the nut holding the latch mechanism and twisted it several times, my latch no longer sticking open. Maintenance tip spray WD40 in latch to prevent issues. $199.00 five year old lock saved twice for less than $25.00. Also I purchased a 30 watt solar panel of Amazon and added it to the existing panel from Ghost and that has corrected my issues with the gate not opening during freezing temperatures.
