I will tell you what I will go call upon a Wendigo and have it raise its hand up along with mine just to get Ricky Olson to get him to start telling more spooky time . But I will send the Wendigo back .Seriously.

MF said the palm reading shop of the village. 😂 Our city pop is five hundred thousand and the metro area over a million. Bro was standing smack dab in the center of the inner city. That area is loaded with homeless, halfway houses and group homes, hotel rooms with weekly and monthly rates, and tons of crime. Bold to wander around down there at night. That’s way scarier than anything in the rave.

I used to explore that place every chance I got years ago, as a kid. Back then it was called the Eagles Ballroom and the Rave section was called The Presidents Room. Upstairs was where the bigger named acts would play and the smaller acts played Presidents Room. Same as they do today. I saw many concerts there and would always try my luck and explore the back stage areas, the stairwells the led to various rooms and hallways and seemed to never have a new area to explore with every turn you made. They had a tanning salon, a bowling alley and even had a Baptist Church congregate in one of the rooms on the 3rd floor. They rented that place out to try and win souls at the early Metalfest’s and the various Metal bands. They were strategically placed, so everyone going to the show upstairs would have to walk past there room. They’d have big wooden crosses outside their doorway that said JESUS SAVES on it and they’d pass out their religions tracts/pamphlets and would straight up go right up to people heading into the show and would stop them in their tracks and begin to proselytize like no one’s business!?!? I felt sorry for these people, as a lot of these people going to the shows could be really cruel to them. They were both bogus but a lot of times, the concert goers went over the top. Anyways, I digress…….i saw most of the joint during my many jaunts into the belly of the supposedly haunted venue. I always would go looking for the ever elusive pool that I’ve heard so much about by so many people. But I was never able to find it. If I hadn’t seen this video, I would have never believed IT even existed……. I’ll have to go check it out next time I’m there. Although I hate seeing shows there. The only good thing about the joint is that it’s super easy to sneak in for free………I’ll say no more about that 😏

Hi Ricky, you are one of my favorite guitarist and I never imagine with all the great MIW songs there are you also get this. I play in a metal band I the UK and we've had good success with our songs but I always struggle with even starting a song. I find I have to walk away but it still never comes back to me. I spend more time away from my guitar then writing, also putting too much pressure on myself to write a song that doesn't sound like any other. I didn't realise you had a youtube channel, was looking for inspiration from you and found this video.
