Being on tour looks like a massive, complex undertaking. I don't doubt getting face to face with the fans makes it worth the effort, but I'm sure there is a healthy dose of "WTF?" moments no matter how many times you do it.

Haha I've never heard someone refer to it as a poopshelf. As far as I know it's for two reasons: 1: It's easier to get samples for medical purposes etc. And 2. It prevents water from splashing. Though I'm not sure if that's really the reasoning behind it or if it was just a design trend. Hope that helps haha :)

European here ...the poop shelf thing was used in the past so you could see if you dropped a healthy log or not and when in doubt you could call a doctor on it.nowadays it's just there because it always been there

I think the "Poop Shelf" is there so it doesn't splatter when you poop xD But I haven't seen toilets like this in years. I always thought these toilets were only used in the past but I seem to be wrong xD Btw I've seen so much of the tour so far and it just looks awesome! Never heard of the poop shelf thing, only in those festival portable toilets. UK is part of Europe (just not the European Union) so maybe its a mainland Europe thing, only been to France and Austria and did not see them there.

Idk if someone already addressed the "issue" so I will : The "toilet thing" is present only in Germany and (I realized this week) in some parts of the Netherlands. We don't have it anywhere else for what I know, and we're all as confused as you are about this 😂 tbh it's easier to get anything you dropped in there lol.
