I have got my PAR but still i have a query In PAR i have filled place of birth as NEW DELHI. but in my passport it is NEW DELHI , DELHI. but there is no option of NEW DELHI , DELHI in hong kong par website. I hope its not an issue. Coz i have seen some videos that check every single detail. Kindly reply

@@kabir5224 they might create an issue about. They usually check things and want them to exactly same as passport. In cases where your birth place is not listed, you need to select “others, please specify” and then enter manually. I am not sure if now they have the option to refill your PAR because you have an active PAR on your passport number, this is a new update which I noticed while making my new booking, but still please try and confirm. @@kabir5224 hello Kabir, For PAR you can just fill in any hotel. You can check out my other video where I applied for PAR. For Visa you need to give the proper hotel and dummy won’t work. Let me know if you still have any question

we are a family of 10 travelling to hong kong on 17th Feb.. We started filling PAR on 19th Jan. 8 people got it approved, but for 2 people (husband and wife) , PAR got rejected. They have no travel history, and place of issue is Lucknow. I applied for Visit Visa for both of them on 20th Jan i.e. yesterday with all documents. Obviously since wife is Housemaker, so for her Visa, monthly salary is 0. I attached a cover letter in both stating, husband will bear expenses. Is there still a chance we can get the visa for those two, before 17th Feb.. 1) I really want to know what other documents do they ask even after filing for Visa, so that I may attach it in supplementary docs even now? 2) As soon as you received the acknowledgment, Did u mail them directly for Visa and expressing urgency? Because i read somewhere, that multiple enquiries delays the application. 3) Does calling them help? If so , I would do that too, since flight is very close. P.S. since no one was from Chandigarh, hyderabad, kolkata, I never thought that PAR could get rejected. So I only applied for PAR almost 1 month back.. serious mistake, i guess

Hello. Usually, they ask for hotel reservations, flight reservations, proof of funds (bank statements/ income statements), and previous travel, if any. When I applied for the visa, I mailed the Hong Kong immigration department with the application number stating that other people were also traveling (along with all the accepted PAR & group flight tickets and travel plans). We also attached the ITR for showing the stability in India ( to remove any thoughts of possible immigration). We followed up on that email in about 10 days and got the visa acceptance in about 25/26 days from the date of application with a payment link. We downloaded the visa as soon as we made the payment. There is also a helpline number; you can make a phone call.

In my case, while applying for the VISA itself for the 2 passengers, I attached a Cover letter stating the family visit and attached PAR numbers of all of them, financial docs inclusive of everything, ITR, bank statement, BUsiness GST certificate as well as Business photo proof in the online application itself. 1)Just to confirm, Did you email them as soon as you received the acknowledgement? If so, did they even reply positively? They didnt ask you for any additional docs which means the first mail that they gave was for approval and payment? 2) 25/26 days that you mentioned is from the acknowledgment date or the date in which you applied for VISa?? Your replies really help significantly. As you can understand our situation is really critical. Flights are on 17th Feb, and the 2 passengers received their acknowledgement today i.e. 23rd Jan.

@ Hi, i will tell you the exact dates and exchange that happened: 2 Oct - applied for Hong Kong Visa. Emailed the immigration department the same day with the application tracking number attaching all the documents I mentioned above 3 Oct - followed up for acknowledgement 5 Oct - received the acknowledgement 22 Oct - visa was still showing in progress. Mailed the follow-up email. 26 Oct - received the email with confirmation of visa and visa fee payment link. Once you make the payment, you can Download it. I noticed that we waited for a while after the acknowledgement, as it was not so urgent. My travel dates were in Dec. but you can give a call in between. Someone shared their experience that they asked for more documents after their call. So I recommend doing that.

If 1st attempt of PAR was mistaken and offcourse unsuccessful. So 2nd attempt won't be hampered by 1st attempt? Or do I have to necessarily apply for tourists visa?

I don't think that is the case any longer. Recently I was try to apply for PAR for a short layover in Hong Kong. But I was not able to, as I had a previous valid PAR (with wrong info that I used in this video). So please fill in your PAR very carefully!

Me and my daughter par got approved my husband par got unsuccessful so we applied visa they replied after one month stating they need more documents we sent that too its been another one month no reply from them so did a fax for asking reply they again asking more documents to verify damn worst visa process i have ever seen we have been to many countries never faced this much torture...only 5 dats left for our trip i have no hope they will approve ajyone have been through such situation let me know will they approve or not..we have booked hotel, flight tickets everything all our hard earned money got wasted..

@@sumayashariff3777 this should not have happened. We got a reply within 12 days. We dropped embassy an email as soon as we applied and kept following up with them regularly. Make sure you did not miss any email from them??

@PassportAndPixels no they replied after one month stating they need more documents we thought it's normal they will reply late only after that we have submitted documents again two days back they emailed us for more documents our mistake is also there we didn't followed them 😕😕 we thought we will get reply now we have only 5 days left no reply mail from them.. seriously fed up with the process and lost the vacation mood also instead they could have rejected the visa.. regretting the decision of choosing hk I planned if for my daughter only because of disneyland

@ you can try mailing them again, sharing your Family PAR and tickets that flight is due in 5 days. Also try the Hotline number. I saw a case, where they got their visa just the very last day.

Visa for a child can be applied as a normal visa, just that you will have to fill in section 6 of the form ID1003A as a declaration. You can add the numbers, but then you should also fill in the Supplementary Sheet to Application for Entry for Visit/Transit in Hong Kong (ID 1003A) to give the travelers' details. We skipped that part and filled out the application as an Individual rather than showing that we were traveling together as a family. Please let me know if you have a follow-up question.

good review. i was there last week - and stayed in Sheraton(5*) Right on the nathan road. it was expensive - 3800 HDK a night for suite.(but good). I hope your hotel had better breakfast options for Indians than mine.

@@SourabhSharma-kq6ed thank you. We did not opt in for the breakfast as there were not many options when I checked. We usually carry our ready to eat packets. Also, we like to start our day va little early on most of the days, like 7.30 or so can’t enjoy the Hotel Breakfast anyway.

@@orangezaid1 I think the rejection rate has recently increased very much. They might be wanting everyone to apply for Visa indirectly. Can’t comment much on that! If you are planning to visit Hong Kong then you should possibly apply for Visa
