Hong Kong PAR Unsuccessful | Reasons and Visit Visa process

Hi , can you please tell if the residential address needs to match with the passport while filling PAR ? we have old address in passport and we are currently staying at different place in india, do we need to provide any address proof for the new address

No Proof is needed. Just fill the PAR with the same address as in the passport.

I am waiting for visa, no updates till now They had asked a few questions and documents, I submitted everything Travelling on 19th of November. Visa has still not arrived 😢

@@utk567 yes please. Make sure that the birth place is written exactly in the same way in your Final PAR as your passport. Even the spellings should be same. Immigration at Hongkong does take some time to match the details of your passport to PAR. Please full again.

My husband has only GIVEN NAME in passport and not surname, his PAR got unsuccessful. While applying for VISIT VISA it is showing invalid format if surname is not added as format is SURNAME, [GIVEN NAME] what should we do??

@@AnkitaDixit-yo6ix i remember when we applied for visit visa, it went through. One of both these field is not mandatory. So you cab try adding the Given name in the Surname field, and leave the other one blank. Make sure the name looks exactly same as in the passport. Not having a surname is not an issue. My husband also don’t have one.

@@PassportAndPixels Hi can u check the HONGKONG VISIT VISA application for your husband and what you guys entered. it has field `SURNAME, [space]GIVEN NAME` which is mandatory which is not allowing me to leave any field blank as format expects SName, FName . Not allowing Sname only or Fname Only without comma and other name.

@@PassportAndPixels Thanks for the info. but we have already filled it with LNU,[space]GIVEN NAME and emailed them. Hoping that I get the visa as all the bookings are done and just within a month.

@@ankitshah8054 what is the issue place for your passport? If it’s Chandigarh, Hyderabad or Kolkata it has got higher chances of rejection. Some other places may also lead to rejection. If your PAR is unsuccessful, please apply for Visa if you want to visit Hong Kong

@@sanjeevsaini1718 aap PAR le sakte ho. Hong kong is Visa free for Indians. Ek bar me ap 14 days tak rah sakte ho. Agar apka PAR reject hota hai toh hi aapko Transit visa lena hota hai.

@@sanjeevsaini1718 toh Ap Transit visa apply kar do. Apko transit visa apki itinerary ke hisab se milta hai. Apka Shenzen me jitne days ka kam ho uske hisab se apply kar do. Also, agar aapki return bhi via Hong Kong ho to please double entry visa apply karna, single nahi. Immigration par dikkat hogi

Stop going to Hong Kong, its a hype created by youtube vloggers, PAR got us stuck, and nowhere to approach, vloggers represented it an easy process, what they didnt mention was the rejection or its unsuccessfulness, now my tickets were booked so i though id get par immediately but no. A visa. Which would take min. 4 weeks..but bro...no time left. ...al money wasted and Indigo did not refund...this is the reallity of vlogging...creating a hype..the truth is they have blacklisted some stupid people and because of which others are suffering along.

@@TravelWithMeVlogs well it’s not a hype! If you would listened to the complete video, I mentioned multiple times to get you par as soon as trip is planned. I got my PAR 4 months before my departure dates to be on safer side, and guess what PAR was rejected for my Husband, but fortunately we had enough time. PAR is valid for 6 months and does not need a confirmed flight tickets , why don’t apply for Something that don’t cost money and check eligibility before spending money on flight?? It just takes 5 extra minute. And my purpose of vlogging to set realistic travel goals in budget with family. Please subscribe and watch out my honest travel experience. Thank you 🙏
