Its my understanding, that all F-18's and Navy and Marine f-35's have a g limitor of 7 to 7.5. Those i believe can be turned off, but the airframe is at risk. Usaf jets, like their f-35, f-16, f-22, and f-15 are considered 9g aircraft. That said, there is a lot more to fighter jets than just g limits. Acceleration, sustained and instantaneous turning, roll rate,, speed, high alpha, and more all play a part in a jets performance.. In modern times, the U.S. has focused on stealth, sensors, situational awarness, jamming, and weapons with various ranges, agility, and stealth as well. So much goes into being a force multiplier thats its hard to compare anything these days without looking at the overal package from the combined attack or defensive package.

Very much so. Essentially an unmatched aerial weapons platform that can be a force multiplier with fleet situational awarness, surveillance, weapons suppression and so much more. Hard to believe Its first flight was 18 years ago as of December 15th.

Yes, basically a essex class aircraft carrier from ww ii, only its a modern amphibious ship that can carry f-35 or harrier Jets along with various helicopters, personal, and land craft. I love them.
