I have several of those non-iron oxford shirts in short and long sleeves and I love them. The only thing I might remove half a star for is the fact that they have a small chess logo. It’s not obnoxious or in your face, but it would be even better if it wasn’t there at all. Still though, only a minor gripe

Just fixed my dad’s 30 year old barber for him. He’s over the moon! Thanks so much for this. Had to unpick the sewing at top of his zip so there was enough room to slip off the zippers on his. Everything else worked a charm two tries and it was realigned perfectly, then I sewed it back together where I’d unpicked the tucked in ends of the zipper. Thanks :)

Thank you so much from Japan. U have helped a lot of folks out there. Btw do u happen to know why this same zipper misalignment issue keep happening to me? Like every timeI fix it , by some random time it will just occurs again and i need to redo it all over again.it’s very annoying. Where did I do it wrong and how can I improve this situation?

Based on the Jay Butler size guide, an 11” length foot should be a size 10, which would be a 10.5 if someone has a wide foot. But you have an 11” long foot and you fit in an 11.5? Now I’m more confused.

Timeless design, it’s the entire reason J.Crew got as large as they did. Too bad it’s lost a magnitude of pull.

I’ve just ordered a double breasted long length overcoat from them in navy Alpaca. It cost £535. I hope it looks as good as I expect it to. They have a more automatic measuring method now, using height, weight and age. After the info is calculated, it told me my measurements were accurate. They sounded right, so I ordered, I’m a bit nervous although I’ve had success with online tailoring so far. I ordered the coat based on the material and the sheen that it promised, which was what I wanted from a smart double breasted long overcoat. I don’t like the slightly girly short coat lengths. If it rains, your knees get soaking wet, making the coat of little use. I’m surprised at the quick dispatch time! I’m using the excuse for buying this because my wife got a long sheepskin coat which turned out to be a fantastic bargain at just under £500, when they cost over £1000! I will give an update on my coat when I receive it.

@@cleavelandcoleman1788 My coat turned out to be even better than I expected! It weighs a ton. Honestly many of the overcoats I see online are too short and are lightweights like the androgynous people who wear them. I remember coats way back when they were always heavy and this one is exactly how they used to be. The surface of this 80% wool 20%Alpaca feels so soft and I stroke my arms 😂. It also gets admired by the ladies who also like to stroke it😁😍. The dark red paisley pattern lining looks fantastic too. The coat has a lovely sheen to it which ads to its luxurious look. I feel like a million dollars in it. It fits perfectly and is money well spent.

I've got lots of boat shoes. And I've just this past summer gotten into Espadrilles type loafers. And linen. I've got linen shorts, long pants and shirts. And long sleeves Polo shirts, including Merino wool for cool weather. Will be looking for a linen suit for next summer, and Nantucket red pants. And the madras style looks cool.

As an Ancient Mariner I have looked forward to this day with open arms. Can this be? A revived interest in looking nice? Amazing. Who would ever have thought it? I had assumed all my dockers were doomed to a continued life of dust and neglect. Now, all I have to do to feel comfortable going out is to open my closet door. Have any of you converts considered donating all those T-shirts of yours to a needy landfill ? And for g's sake, get some sport coats that cover your ass. You all look like half-assed women going down the street. If you guys want to flash some ass, it should be all. Or nothing. Girls wear butt-highs to attract males in heat. Boys might examine the close association between your navel and your waist. Looking like a prisoner with a mal-nourished flat butt hanging down, and out, seems politically incorrect for these times. Preppy eschews tacky. At all costs. What good is a bright and smiling face if your butt is dark and smelly ?

Success ! Resurrected my 23 year old Bedale jacket. after ten years of hanging on to it. 😍😍 It was tricky getting the clasps off, and almost as tricky getting them back on . I had to widen them further before they would slip back on the cloth. Many thanks !
