choice paralysis is a thing. not that hard to overcome though. though sometimes i end up with 4-5 games i play for a while... but its always been that way for me. end up beating them all eventually.

I had the plus first and I just got the V4. It really is smaller than it looks once you get it in your hands . I love the V4. I bring it with me everywhere.

analogue pocket really did change how I played my retro handheld games! made me want to mod a gba & gbc bc its an expensive letdown :) oversaturated colours, no automatic colour pallettes. no pixelgrid without the crappy overlays which make colours even worse. great handheld for open fpga, horrible for gameboy games :) does not compare to original hardware at all

I saw tons of videos saying bla bla BEST HANDHELD ever. Yeah my fault to not watch those entire videos. I boight the RGB30 and instantly got headaches with the sleepmode not really functioning but probably the problem was, i instantly installed ArkOS. I went back to JelOS (now RockNIX) and sleepmode works again. Now annoying D-PAD...why is everyone saying the device is awesome but then listing tons of problems? Uhh there is sth on etsy i can buy an tape on it. OHHH unfortunately we dont deliver to your country!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! GODDAMIT.

The miyoo mini is the only device I manage to go LVL 19 in Tetris.

It feels like a McDonald's toy, just really thin cheap feeling plastic. Rocknix cant play n64 well and arkos feels scattered and unrefined. The screen is fantastic though. Hopefully someday there's an ambernic one that has the same horsepower, quality feel, and software support as the rg35xx h with this dank screen

The quality of that satin black plastic shell is poor. Light and dark patches around holes and logos (0:55), especially noticeable when compared to the real deal (1:05), and visible flash (1:59), causing a wavy line (I wonder if it feels sharp to the touch?). I'd expect to see this on one of those China-special emulators but not something that's supposed to be a premium product. The screen looks lovely on the other hand.

Absolute game changer = Great for Pico 8, very good for Gameboy Right... It's an overhyped screen/aspect ratio. That said I think I am getting the RG Cube. At least it has more power.

5:06 I'm so much with you on this. I have multiple generations of PS and Nintendo consoles, an Anbernic, and even an OG Gameboy, and not to mention my PC steam library, so "more games" isn't what I'm looking for. On the contrary, with the pocket I'm pursuing a "less is more" kind if a strategy, a throwback to my childhood done right. As much as I enjoy the OG Gameboy it simply has natural shortcomings, such as the weight to screen ratio, which the pocket solves elegantly without compromising on the retro vibe :)

Liked and subbed. LItnxt ships with Onion OS and a decent memory card now. The mini is also on V4 and easy to find. I own a Retroid Pocket 4 Pro and recently an updated Miyoo A30. I'm so torn on which to get the Mini or Mini Plus now! So hard to choose and cash is tight so I won't buy both just yet. Watching videos like this makes me lean back towards the mini as I don't care about shoulder buttons and just want a small handheld to play old school games on during a long drive as passenger or waiting to get into my doctor appointments. Normally I'd say I don't care about pockit-ability as I also carry my backpack or use a game case anyway, but with that being said I'd like a console I can carry around in my pocket and just play. Coin toss but I thin watching this swayed me back to the mini...

A pleasure to view such beutiful review. The visuals are so nice. For arcade and SEGA I'm also using forced 8:7 aspect ratio with integer scaling on and crt-lotte-fast shader. This way it takes 90% of the screen but a bit vertically stretched which is a trade-off I'm willing to deal with.

For me the ArkOS is PERFECTION. Once you get it working, everything works flawlessly, all the ports, every game.

If the RGB30 didn't have the battery hang issues it would be my favorite, but having to open it up and unplug the battery every other time I play it kills the joy.
