I mean, you can still hear the song... It sounds pretty bad and messed up, but still listenable

Do the same with a 78 rpm Sun Records from Elvis Presley or a Sterling from Hank Williams at 1000 dollards on 78 rpm

I have opened records this way but damaged the inside because the blade was too far in when I cut. I have damaged other records trying to get the wrap off too. Now I get nervous when records come in plastic wrap. I prefer them without. ha ha. Although it's nice to have the wrap on the record to protect it, I find that it's not as nice to look at the album art cover with old wrinkly shrink wrap on it. I just use my sleeves and hope for the best. But thanks for the vid, I'll try your technique sometime. If done carefully like demonstrated it will surly work fine.

The 78rpm community is no joke a bunch of old men acting like babies. I did a similar thing where I took an Edison record and played it on my gramophone cabinet. Everyone was soooo pissed. One guy wanted me to get kicked out of the group because of it, like dude get fucked I paid for it lol

The Gary Numan thing was funny. I just found your videos and I think you're frickin hilarious! The guy you called Rick Moranis was, in fact, also in the original Ghostbusters. He was the guy at the beginning who was getting shocked by Bill Murray during the E.S.P. test. Thanks! Keep crushing it!

I recently just started collecting all kinds of vinyls, and I never knew you could open them while keeping the wrap on until I bought a record pre owned off of another collector. I have tons of vinyls that are completely wrapped, but now I can actually listen to them without completely opening them, so thank you for the tutorial!
