Tim. Thank you for this video. I have always had an interest in your industry. But most people think you are weird if I want to talk about it. It was so interesting. Thank you again.

Tim-love this project. I watched it several times but nowhere do you show how to put it on the bar. 😮 Can you please explain it? I’m sure it’s simple but I just can’t figure it out 😊

This was so interesting. Thank you for the inside look. I had no idea. Unfortunately, I attended a few virtual funerals over Covid outbreak. I was also going through treatment for cancer. So that technology was very helpful to still attend. It also let you make comments through livestream to the family. I also was looking into the new human composting burial too (for future planning).

I didn’t know there was a convention for funerals. My dad was a funeral director. We owned the funeral home in our town.

There are actually a few other national shows and most states have their own organizations that have state conventions each year.

I am appreciative of the dignity, warmth, and humanizing aspects that your work is bringing to people at an extremely difficult time in a family's journey. It was also nice to see the memorial item options by some of the other small businesses.

OMG!!! Thanks for sharing this!!! I live in NOLA and many, many years ago--decades, actually--I worked for a major hotel (it’s within walking distance of the convention center) that hosted the funeral directors convention. I really didn’t know what to expect after seeing various conventioneer groups--with varying levels of civility towards and expectations and demands of hotel staff, as well as varying levels of sobriety and “hired” companionship 😉--come through, but the funeral directors and their vendors were the nicest, most genuine, and most polite and considerate group of people to come through the hotel. Everyone at the hotel was sorry to see them leave because we knew most groups weren’t that nice. Like I said, I had no idea what to expect given their occupation and all too often smarmy (and creepy) stereotypes portrayed in movies and on television, but they were the best!!! I hope you got a lot of business, and that enjoyed your stay and got to eat a lot of good food. I’m glad you got to enjoy our beautiful, low humidity weather!!! (Hopefully you were able to make good your departure just hours before the thousands of Swifties began to swoop in for her three concerts this weekend!!! 😂😂😂)

I made my daughters the cart cover from Crafty Gemini for their babies. But it’s bulky so I made each of them one of these bags to put it in. This way they can keep it in their car. This bag was SO easy. Thank you!!

That little push lid bin, I would be making a pin cushion surround on the top, adding elastic belt around the cup to hold thread cards and small snips. All in one sewing kit and clean up.

Yes it happened to me , I’m going all the way around a poodle skirt , I’m almost finished when I notice my bobbin is out ! I got my niece a sewing machine, she’s been wanting to learn sewing, quilting etc . I paid $30 for a good Singer machine worked great. I take it to her explain the thread on the spool , needle & the bobbin, showed her where it goes . She looks at me dumbfounded, I ask her is something wrong ? Why would you need the bobbin, if you’ve already got thread on top ⁉️🙄 I explained but still couldn’t make her understand! All the shirts are great !

Has anyone used something other than rice, corn or any other rodent preferred food for filler? I am trying to not use rice because where I used to live, mice got in the house and ate all the rice containing items in my craft room (a rice weighted paper scrap hanging bag, my extra rice in a bag, one of these bags, etc.). I bought some crushed walnut shells to make some of these but they are on the pricey side so I'm looking for a cost-friendly, rodent unfriendly but not toxic alternative.
