BAR has a whole teaching program (we call it the mentorship program) connected to the official discord. If you'd like a replay analysis, people create a thread in the academy chat channel with the replay and ping mentors (include your in game name if its different in game). (Feel free to also ping me (zeteo) specifically if you'd like me to handle it. (I can't always get to it right away, pinging mentors gives you more opportunity to get it looked at sooner).

My apologies for the late reply! I wouldn't base that on a game time, it depends on the state of the game and map. If wind is bad and you are building solar, there isn't much need to build a storage super early. Usually a E storage happens closer to like 4 or 5 minutes, adv solar closer to 5 or 6 minutes or so (give or take a minute or 2) - at 20 minutes, people should be closer to an afus than anything.

The reclaim widget is part of the base game now, look in settings > interface > info (advanced mode needs to be on)

It's Settings > Interface > Interface > 'always show prices'

yeah, I try to mix in some mid level info too, but it depends on the review. I also do some higher level stuff, but oftentimes those players oftentimes know what to adapt already, and my info is slightly limited there

Skuttle is great for that sorta thing - may be able to get away with using regular bombs too for a cheaper option

2:45 - I love to use the spacebar and alt hotkeys to insert stuff, it's one of the reason I love BAR so much. :3c

Your comments about how fast to get cons out and send them to early mexes have really helped me kickstart my eco in the early game. I'm too protective of my cons, but when I think about it, if need be, I can usually rez them if I'm in a botlab opener unless they got killed by the commander and eaten up. My plan was always to tech transition to vehicles in this game, bot lab was just going to be for some early rezbots and later on, grunts to support Tigers. Game didn't end up going on for that long though. I never seem to eat my bot labs when I tech transition. It didn't do very much for me after I switched out. Rarely seems to. Shoulda thought about reclaiming it after I built that second rezbot, then switch back into it later when eco is better and the need for rezbots and grunt spam becomes important.

5:50 - YUP. Radar up there woulda changed the game for me. My thoughts on putting cons up there in whatever order was "I want to put two mexes, then the geo, so I want to have power production going somewhere else first so I don't stall while the geo's building. Oh right, radar! I'll build it with my commander. Can I reach the hill from down here? Don't really feel like checking, I'll just put it here, it's probably fine-" (the radar gets instantly killed by blitzes)

10:00 - Old habit from the SupCom days, but I optimize everything so the builder I've got selected never has to move an inch because builders in SupCom will not walk to the edge of their build radius like they do in BAR, they will walk their face right up to the build location and _then_ start building, which wastes about 10-15 seconds a pop and screws everything up. Not only that, but things don't chain react in SupCom *nearly* as hard as they do in BAR, so I'm learning getting things out a half-second quicker is often secondary to making sure it won't take out your entire eco if one thing dies in a barely-successful raid. That being said, once I started hearing "never build wind more than 2 wide or you lose everything," I never went back. :3c Kind of a random thing to have chain react IMO, but wind is pretty OP, so it's fine.

13:30 - YUP! THAT RADAR SUCKS AND I KNEW IT. I thought to myself "Next time I'm building those mexes in the opposite order so I can put the early radar at the bottom where it hopefully won't get blocked so much." Although maybe the downside to such a choice is that my bot lab is further from the center, so I'm not really able to help my ally as much if they get in trouble early game, which is also bad. Probably could have thought about walling up that bottom section once I knew they went early vehicles and can't get around DT just by climbing the side of the plateau.

Yeah I'm going to add them for all the newer ones. Did a few of the older ones, but now I realize it takes too long to do all that for all the existing ones

Wouldn't be a bad choice, there is a lot of skill expression here and I think the choice here was to try and do some of that stuff with just missile cruisers, allowing for other options. I was thinking of mentioning adding a battleship or 2 to try and force plasma shields for a lower cost
