@@Marek_Z_RC nice one! Did you make the mount on your own? I want to do a similar conversion but still nmo clue which mount to use. And why did yoo use the reeper DIff, is it because of the big gear? cheers!
@Marek_Z_RC

I made project myself, but parts were made by CNC shop in China. I can send you my drawing to make an order but building might not be easy. You need to find driveshafts with the correct length or cut and weld any driveshafts (Cen diff is longer). You also need to precisely drill and tap holes in chassis or motor mount, which can be difficult sometimes. Motor mount can be made at home if you have good tools. Stephane Z makes many homemade parts, he made a motormount similar to mine too. Yes, cen diff is for big gear, with which I don't need any additional gears, like in a stock design.

Nasty bro,.... So Clean😮 Can you explain your setup? I keep killing shock shafts, or pistons, or other little things. Shock Wt? Diffs wt? Is there anything you did specific for camber, toe?? Because that is crap from factory. Did you keep or remove outer shock bump stops? Motor, Pinion, ESC? Thanks The handling seems so dialed😮😎👍
@Marek_Z_RC
@Marek_Z_RC 4 ай бұрын
Thank you 👍 Esc: HW max8 G2 Motor: HW 4278 2250kv Pinion: 17t Diff oils: f/c/r 100k/500k/50k cSt Shocks: Stocks are bad, as you noticed. Silver shafts from MT+2 are slightly better but not goo enough. (I heard that HoBao stopped producing these black/brown shafts and newer MTX come with silver shock shafts) There are some other shafts that would fit: I tried Arrma 330796 and they are worse than HoBao. I didn't try CEN GS507 which might fit too. Shock rod ends are good, I didn't break any. (HoBao makes good plastic. I use HoBao 94010 rod ends for Tekno MT410 camber links, because stock parts were breaking) Pistons: Put bigger washer under shock piston and keep stock washer above it. Tighten nut well, as bigger washer doesn't leave much space for locknut. I use normalized DIN9021/ISO7093 M3 washer. Is stock shock set up too stiff? Maybe, it might cause some breakages too. You can use thinner oil or drill bigger holes in pistons or use MT+2 pistons which have 4 holes. I don't know what weight fluid I use, I just mixed many 👨‍🔬 I kept these rubber bump stops. I just ordered some 'GPM rear dampers for Trx Sedge'. They are 143mm long, so should be ok. Shafts are 6mm. My experience with GPM shocks is that they wear and start leaking but it might be the best solution for now. If you don't want GPM you can try stock Sledge shocks (9661), I think their shaft are 5mm but I'm not sure Camber, toe, I don't focus on this as long as it looks not bad. Wheels around vertical. Front straight or slightly outward. Rear slightly inward. (I made some parts to use Mugen upper arms 🙂 ) Servo: AGF SA81FHMW (it might be the strongest rx powered servo and it's not slow too) Stock car doesn't turn well. Turning radius is very big but you can use some brake and throttle to slide it. I will try to improve steering a little bit. Next video will be with very different set up, which I'm working on since long time 🔧

Hellow, what kind of tyres do you use, they not explode and blow.. I tried different and also backflip lp, they dont live in skatepark with 6s(((
@Marek_Z_RC
@Marek_Z_RC 5 ай бұрын
In this video I used Backflips LP and after 2 sets broke, I bought Proline Badlands 3.8". Badlands 3.8" are slightly smaller and more narrow than Backflips LP. There are also Badlands MX38, which are much bugger, too big for small mt410, but good for HoBao MTX I think that Badlands 3.8" might be more durable than Backflips LP, but they are also smaller and lighter, so they give less air control All tires can explode. Usually belted tires can survive most rpm but balooning is very important for air control, so it depends what you need
