I always use this for my characters, but I usually do it 4 times

I agree. It’s a really strong starting point for characters

should we delete the face inside?

Yes otherwise it can cause issues. Thank you for reminding me, I will aim to make an updated video with more information!

What happens when i havew 7,918 parts joined
@AaronPalmer14 күн бұрын
It will be a lot more tricky to separate. It depends on how they are joined. You can try separating them by loose parts but don’t do all of it in one go as it will be an intensive action. I would suggest doing it in groups.

This just saved me as well. Thank you so much!!! 😊 I have a big building structure (100 feet long by 50 feet wide that both ascends & descends roughly the same measurements). This is great!!

Overrated, doesn’t work, and does NOT explain well.

I have a longer form video that explains this in more detail. I apologise that you did not find this video useful.

You rule. I've been dealing with exporting glass from Arnold into Substance before Unity. You just cut out all the unnecessary steps, and made it look better. Thanks dude

Although the parts are separate by clicking on each individual part, they still move together in OBJECT MODE.

Thank you for making it 30 seconds and not 10 minutes long.

Join object and any limitation for number of objects? When I try 2 or 3 it work fine, but when I try a building have like thousands of objects and it cannot work.
@AaronPalmer2 ай бұрын
You are likely being limited by the power of your computer. Try join a group of them at one time, but not all at once. Hope this helps.

Is this still possible? Are the sliders and tweaks gone now 2024? If so, how do we tweak a character's coloring now?
@AaronPalmer2 ай бұрын
If you are using CC3 then it should work but it has not been updated for the new CC4 and so it may not work if your on the newer version

I am pretty sure to see still a lot of triangles just after converting.
@AaronPalmer4 ай бұрын
Blender is not great at converting so there will need to be manual changes, the smoother the faces the easier it will be

so this is how those models from blender import with a texture linked already? (not just a matieral)
@AaronPalmer4 ай бұрын
It basically stores the images (texture) locally within the blender project instead of relying on grabbing the pictures from the file they are stored in, as this link can be broken if they are moved or the file is (images or the blender project), but embedding them means that the link will always be there as it knows that they are in the blender file. Hope this makes sense and helps you understand what its doing.

@AaronPalmer4 ай бұрын
Yes I'm working on an update. In the mean time a work around I've suggested is downloading an older version of blender and then opening it up in a newer version once done. Working hard at trying to get the video out but difficult to do so with my full time job
@groggod6664 ай бұрын
@@AaronPalmer yeah no pressure dude thanks for the videos. It kinda sucks when the blender team moves little things around like that, but I guess it's necessary.
