Engineer Bill family, For my 73 birthday someone sent me videos of you and also Sheriff John. It was my best gift! When I saw these I felt in my heart the times when I was a little girl. I loved you and John so much. You brought so many good times and feelings in my childhood. God bless!❤

Tom Irwin shared this Memorial to Jack Vincent that he produced and first shared with us at Lido's restaurant in Lemon Grove, CA back in 2017. It is a beautiful testament to the etiology of radio broadcasting and one it's pioneering icons in Southern California from the 1950's to the early 1970's. Having listened to Jack and meeting him, during a time when I was also "on the air" on other local stations and also later meeting Jack at Tom & Linda Irwin's "pool hall gang" gatherings, this video brought tears to my eyes for how much of the America I grew up that was good, fun, innocent and decent has been lost. I just LOVED it!!!

So, I love listening to Tom's show, I love model trains, and I love this video! Great job, the video creates the kind of magic that Disneyland has. I almost for got to mention, I play very competitive 8 ball and 9 ball, a member of the APA (American Pool Player Association) for many years, having won several tournaments, Yes, I like the pool table too...

I been listening to Art Laboe since i was a little kid in the 70s, i got the honor to speak to Art in 2017. I was listening to The Art Laboe Connection on KoKo FM 94.3 out of fresno California,I called in one night and got Art himself on the line. I requested a song to be played just for me to hear not going to anybody, he played oh girl by the Chi Lites and he gave me a history lesson on the group and how Eugene Record came up with the groups name. That is a memory i will always teeasure forever. Art the king of the oldies, RIP my brother you are truly missed mightily. We will see you soon on that big stage in the sky doing your oldies shows and spinning those records for jesus and the heavenly host. God truly has his own personal DJ now😢❤🌹

I loved listening to Art especially when he read those dedications to people serving time in jail. I would imagine it was uplifting for those folks that had no hope of getting out of prison.

0:53 Did he really put his nose on the mic? He may be good on the air, but you don't do stuff like that. I worked in radio 40 years and never did that! YUK!

OMG I'm old. Casey Ivers was a year older than I was when this was broadcast; she'd be 67 now. Oy. I'm speculating that this little girl was an heir to the Ivers chain of department stores in the area in the 60s.
