If so, when would an international buyer without an NIE need to decide to buy a plot of land to be able to apply in time? I have been visiting this area for the last 50 years, and have been there literally hundred of times. Quite interesting and I cannot criticise the commentary too much. The Brits haven't really changed that much in all of those years - unfortunately. The place that I stay is Arroyo. Fortunately the Brits know about it but tend to stay away except for market days. It still retains that bit of old Spain, very civilised, safe, always something going on. I know this coast very well - Arroyo is to my mind the best place to stay - knocks the spots off any where else.( The very old town of Arroyo is to the left by the way) Great video. Thanks.

Nice quality? Really! As a former buyer from Urbania in HW (got out of the deal due to their lies and bad build quality) You should look into that before citing this as good quality. I know there are more than one developer here, so it surely can be true. But Urbania has a lot of horror stories.

Estepona is great but looking at the current growth rate,Im worried about how fast the infrastructure can keep up...stores, doctors, schools, water, roads, etc. Are they also developing those?

Why do lawyers charge such exorbitant fees? The cost of a 10 million property lawyer is 86.000 e, according to the online cost calculator (tax, attorneys, notaris, etc.). How much does an hour cost them? 10,000. All of the documents they offer are templates that only need to be altered. You cannot engage a buying real estate agent like we can in Holland because any real estate agent can sell you a property that is listed in the database. In my opinion, you can save a lot of money by employing a professional real estate agent to assist you with the survey and negotiations.

The prices are highly blown up, it smells like a bubble. Spain is not doing much better then North EU countries, with immigration policy, taxes, etc. What about safety? Now with those natural disasters, I'm very suspicious. I'm planing to move permanently (retirement) to some high end property, but I'm more skeptical day by day.

The traffic on the A-7 is fasting becoming a liability for Marbella, apart from being very dangerous. When will the AP-7 go toll free? Are there any other solutions?
