Do you soak your woodchips ? And also, why don’t you cold bath your sausage as soon as it comes out?

Is that the original air conditioner? Or have you had to replace it?

Still the original A/C that I bought used from a yard sale.

use a washer in the strut instead of the strut nut that way you can slide the hook around. then use a wing nut on the bottom side to easily hand tighten to hold position. Its what i did and works great

Hi, I've used mine last fall,it worked perfectly and yesterday iwanted to used it because here it's deer hunting season till end of November.It started great and everything but my HEATER light always blinking and my COOLER won't Cool down.Do you think my heater cable could be defective or air conditioner gone??
@NickW.H.15 күн бұрын
The light blinking indicates that the heater is running. I would check your connections first and make sure the compressor is running on your a/c

do you use a secondary thermometer to monitor how correct the coolbot is? I have noticed that when I have mine set to 38 degrees by seperate ambient probe i have hanging will be as low as 32 degrees while the coolbot shows 36 or 38 most of the time.
@NickW.H.4 ай бұрын
I’ve used one in the past but not recently. I never noticed and temp differences with mine. Mine will drop down into the low 30’s over night when temps are cold.

Can I ask a question....when all you hunters kill all these wonderful creatures what would be lifted for future generations to see? The pronghorn worked real hard to survive extinction to be here today....and you are killing them off.... REALLY REALLY 👎
@NickW.H.6 ай бұрын
To answer your question, wildlife are managed by expert biologists. They study and learn how many animals can sustain a healthy life on the landscape. When areas exceed these numbers hunting is allowed and they only sell that exact amount of tags. Us as hunters are put in a random draw to draw these tags. Our money goes to help these animals. Hunters are conservationist. We eat all the meat from these animals, and antelope meat is probably our favorite game meat. I understand your believes and don’t have a problem with you not liking hunting, I’m not going to try to change your mind but I want to give you my side of the story. I appreciate you commenting and hopefully my insight will help you better understand why we hunt.

getting a dog house blind was the smartest thing i've done for hunting. so far got a nice 8 point and a big doe out of mine. both with my 30 30. have not had a chance with the bow yet, plan on it this year.

So the back end of the a/c sits outside correct? If so, is there a minimum outside temperature that would cause this set up not to work? What’s the lowest outside temperature in which you have used this set up?

I have actually run mine when the temps were below freezing over night and in the 40’s during the day. Probably didn’t need to run it at all.

Ac was invented to keep gun powder dry for us army as a by product of removing the moisture the air is cooled ie you wont notice any moisture issue ever if the window unit drains to outside of your cooler
@KenFullman2 ай бұрын
I personally doubt that story. In order to build a dehumidifier you first have to know the principles of refrigeration. So the dehumidifying effects would have come as a by product of cooling the atmosphere, not the other way around. (In my opinion) One story I heard was that, in hot British colonies, there was often issues with malaria. There was no cure but quinine helped keep the symptoms under control. In order to make the quinine more palatable the Brits would put it with gin and also add CO2 to give it a little fizz. It then became apparent that the compressed bottles of CO2 became cold as their pressure was released. From this the first refrigeration methods were developed. I'm not totally sure I believe this one either. There have been so many of these stories, it's hard to know which ones to believe.
