Toss in 2 vibrant ultra quiet resonators and it’ll be perfect. The bullet style ones hardly make any difference. Any muffler swap will be a downgrade from the corsa.

Has 95lb injectors in it. Whipple injectors are like 52-55lb.

Question for ya, how many 5 speeds have you gone through at that hp? Really hard to get honest answers or just people with actual experience dealing with these transmissions at high hp. Much appreciated

In this car? Numerous...somewhere between 5-10. A good average is a transmission a year IF the car is running. I have owned it for 10 years.

@@diambo4life yeah in that car or just vr4 trans in general, looking at a vr4 with 430 to the wheels with an unopened trans. I was wondering if you could shed any light on to how it will handle it on the streets with no launching and treating it well, I know many people at that power level with no issues. Just looking for extra info. Thanks

@@roboduck9760 It will handle just fine. We just ask too much from these transmissions. If you intend to launch it a lot I would definitely do a welded center diff or some sort of 4 spider upgrade. If you look at my channel, I had a pretty quick 1G back in the day that was my daily and that had a stock trans unmodified and it lived a long life....relatively speaking, I mean...if you launch the car at every light, the trans will die quickly.

Sounds great. I have the same truck with the 5.0. But I’m on the fence about getting this system. I had an MBRP sport series system and it had a terrible drone when was doing highway speeds, 70ish to 80ish, and I had to go back to stock. How bad is the drone with this corsa xtreme system at those speeds, providing you drive like that? Lol

There's NO drone at all. Also with the tail pipes out back you don't hear much anyway. What I'm saying is highway cruising it's as mellow as you can get. I will video one of these days because I get this question a lot.

I have 3.31s as well, the difference between them only varies in how spaced the gears are, so the shorter the better as the 5.0 is incredibly powerful at high end rpms. the difference would be marginal, but still a tad bit quicker! love the sound bro 💪💪

@@leroy3563 It's actually lowered about 2.5-3" total in the rear with Maxtrac shackles and removing of the stock blocks. Front is stock height. No...the 33x12.5s with this offset (+18) don't rub or make any contact with the truck at all.
