You're amazing! I had hand-tied just put in and she folded the ends of the wefts and now the wefts feel think and lumpy? She has 4 wefts in 1 row? And one side is over my ear and the other isn't? Is this normal?

Liked the topper - not crazy about the razor cut. I wonder if you sleep in this and does it pull out the hair you have if you do?

For anyone who questions this, I am a hair stylist and I use tape in toppers for one of my clients from another brand. The solvent I use to remove the adhesive every 6 weeks when I give her maintenance makes the hair slide right off. I think this is actually a really cool method and I don't see any problems with the solvent being able to remove the liquid tape. There isn't really a better semi-permanent hair topper solution than this. I like the tape in tipper, but there aregaps in the coverage, it does it adhere in one solid piece the way this does. and this looks more seamless, solid, and stable. I'm definitely going to order mine and try this with my client. And keep in mind I've worked in stage and theater. We used to straight up glue devil's horns to people's heads / hair with spirit gum and just use remover to take it off. No problems. There's no reason this shouldn't work.

Why would you do sewing when you could just do microbeads the way that you’re doing so much easier

😬 i think this has to be one of the worst applications of tape ins i ive ever seen. Bringing in those extra strands of hair from above each tape, will cause major snagging and breakage.
@texjan8
@texjan8 Жыл бұрын
why do you apply the extension when the hair is elevated above a 45 angle? when you release it, it has a bubble and doesn't lay flat. also causes breakage.

when threading, I heard you say to go on opposite sides of the beads not over, do you include the threaded string with that? I'm just curious how they stay secure

I recommend using 1 sided taping for the sandwich method, simply to keep down others being tangled in the loose tape

This method is way better for your hair then tape in's. I've had both and no matter how careful you take the tape out it still pulls out hair at the root. Where this method my hair has actually gotten healthier because it doesn't do that at all and you have the weft that helps protect your natural hair.

I've never seen someone put the thread through the bead before installing the extensions. Can you briefly explain the purpose of this method over the waterfall method? I've been thinking about getting extensions but feel my hair is too short. It's a few inches longer than the model's but still feel it won't blend properly as I have a shag sort of cut.

It adds more strength and secures the weft better. I have this method in my hair right now. My stylist put them in 5wks so and I just had them moved up and colored. I have 3rows and love it! I asked her if people with short thin hair can do these and she said yes she does it all the time. Mine blend really well no one has been able to tell and it's not choppy.

Actually, Charlie, having shaggy hair is easier than trying to blend someone’s hair that is a solid blunt cut.
@natnathutchins
@natnathutchins Жыл бұрын
it all depends. Just cut my hair into a off hte shoulder bob. I have a thin crown , so we added a double row with this method and its the perfect cut. My bangs never really get past my nose/chin so I need the length in the front. Also, I get minemoved up every two weeks because they are so close to the top. Any growth just looks horrible. The middle you can let go for 6-8 weeks, but not at the top. Don’t let anyone tell you that.
