Fuck this brings me right back to years ago 2010 or so? I was falling in love with a girl she lived by the river. Every single night after she got Off work we would listen to this album drink, smoke, talk etc. It was towards the end of summer. We would stay up until the sun came up. I had deep feelings for her, it was such a magical time of change if you have ever been in love you know how its a powerful drug. I can even smell the the air and my heart feels heavy listening to this. It was a short lived romance, I kinda got dumped I was her rebound...I knew it & and knew it wasn't going to work and that it would ultimately lead to my heart being broken but I didn't care. I'm a sucker for falling head over heels in love, I'm an artist I paint, draw etc & she was my muse. She had dark black hair I used to love the way she smelled even tho she would say I JUST GOT OFF WORK IM ALL SWEATY ETC. To me it was sweeter than any flower nature could produce. We did a lot of drugs at the time AND like I said I was her rebound she had just broke up with her boyfriend who she had Been with for a while. I rememberer how she was so amazed at how much I complimented her and how open and honest I was with my feelings for her and how much of a "gentleman" I was...something she never received from her past boyfriend. I knew he treated her this way so I went out of my way to give her what she said she " never had" because I knew she deserved it...and it felt so good to do that for her. I brought her gifts and flowers nearly every night. She said I swept her off her feet. She ultimately still had feeling for her ex boyfriend which I knew. Like I said I knew I was going to be heart broken before it was over. It eventually ended as the weather got colder. Its amazing a song or music can instantly throw you right back into a memory or a situation from the past. First time I have thought about her and those magical summer/fall nights with her. Her face was so beautiful in the moonlight and I could stare at her eyes for ever. We would talk but we didn't have to there were no awkward moments we could just hold each other and not say a word for hours. I have not seen or talked to her since then..its so strange how close you can be with someone and then they eventually turn into a stranger. It may not sound like it but I am completely over her, this song just flooded me with all the memories. Life is amazing and we are all lucky to be alive right now.

I watch POI once a year or so. I have all the seasons. But every once in a while, I forget certain scenes, and so when this song played, I was hit with nostalgia. It's such a good song.
