The lyrics are moving, it feels like trying to keep going for someone else, like a child or future generations. Rather than being free, you choose to sacrifice for another's benefit, and eventually fade away leaving them there to carry on the thread you gave them as well as their own. It makes me think about my mother and all the sacrifices she made for me. I found y'all through the Current in Mankato first, and United Crushers gave me comfort in a really tough time in my life and I want to thank y'all for continuing to create music that is so moving.
