My favorite piece of trivia about this episode/chapter, is that the author did not know when he started the arc how he was going to make Hiruluk’s dream come true. He was really worried about it. But coincidentally, he had drawn the mountains to look long and skinny like tree trunks, and everything seemed to fall into place when he realized that even more than he initially had wanted.

God damn it, when I use to live with my grandma back in 2009-2013 I would watch tv shows that I totally acquired legally using my xbox media center on my xbox 360, and the show my grandma and I would watch was the older knight rider. Seeing this just reminded me of those times and wish I did that more often before she passed in 2013.

just like in nature, Baby Birds have to be forced to leave the Nest. they wont do it on their own, and in reality it's the same thing for people too. change is a very scary thing and it can make you hesitate, she knew that Chopper needed that little push and she delivered.
