Him calling this bike cheap made me feel poor bro this bike is pretty expensive in India!
@r4avn14 күн бұрын
Sorry mate wrong use of words, I meant affordable. CFmoto, RE & KTM are the only brands making affordable or entry level adv bikes. It’s not a cheap bike in anyway, as I said some areas of this bike is even better than my Transalp.
@onemorethompson14 күн бұрын
I know most people here want to see you rip through the bike at full throttle, but I’m more interested in how it performs on India’s pothole-riddled roads. I’d love to hear your thoughts on how the bike handled that terrain. Since you’ve mentioned regularly riding a Transalp 750, it would have been great to hear a comparison between the two, especially in terms of suspension and ride quality on Indian roads. With so few city roads where you can ride fast, comfort on an ADV is a key factor for me. Could you share your experience on how the Himalayan handled rough road sections and how comfortable (or uncomfortable) it felt on your body?
@r4avn14 күн бұрын
Would take me sometime to respond to this, let me give you a response tomorrow and probably do a video about this in the future for others.

Really interested in your thoughts between the Transalp vs the Himalayan. Not really bikes that are often cross-shopped, but those are the two I am considering!
@r4avn14 күн бұрын
To make it easier for you let me lay out some key positives on both ends. Transalp - Reliability King, Everything works but nothing is great expect that engine 750cc engine is a gem, sherpa cant come close to the feel of it. Road comfort, two up riding, a real big bike. Heavy but easy, nimble, great balance amazing turning radius. 12000km maintenance interval. Himalayan - Engine power (for its class, its amazing) , suspension, small feel factor, agile, will be easier to offroad, 230mm ground clearance compared to 212mm of Transalp, Less Fuel Consumption. Dont get me wrong, Transalp suspension is good, but not great when you go fast on off-road. Hope this helps. If you want to know more, just ping me on Insta, happy to help.
@locoman349813 күн бұрын
@@r4avn thanks for replying man! I already have a DRZ, so I think I’ll go with the Transalp for bigger bike feel, but it seems like the sherpa would’ve been a great choice as well

your video would have been like the creator you are trying to copy, and no doubt you did good job except for the mic you used and that phone you placed in a bag....please buy a better mic start putting one or maybe even 2 dead cats on it. and try buy uni-directional mic and face it towards bike exhaust. if possible invest in DJI action 4 or 5 and buy a DJI MIC 2 for wireless connectivity ant put the mic inside a bag with deadcat and change the mic density to -8 in camera. it works wonders!

Thanks, mate; not someone who is good with a lot of things related to whatever you just said, haha; all I know is to hump on and go! And mostly i try to remain safe, only when i get these kinda roads i try to just enjoy a bit. But yeah, slowly learning in process, will take time and lots of saddle time :) Appreciate your feedback, mate. I will definitely try to improve in these areas.
@darktitan808521 күн бұрын
@@r4avn i think that moving your throttle hand to the outside edge of the throttle, rather than holding it to the inside will help. Then, gripping it like an ice cream cone will also make it better. If thats confusing, you can search the term "ice cream grip". Its definitely a nice feeling when you're riding and you're just smooth with every control. I think its worth doing, and that it does give more confidence to the rider. Ride safe mate :)
