Thermocured or Torrefied or baked just means the resins in the wood have been crystalized so the wood doesn't absorb moisture very easily. Nice sounding guitars.

Early intermediate player with smaller hands, I’ve played C profile neck but not a V. Is the V chunky?
@codymmusicКүн бұрын
Not really chunky, but different. I consider wide neck profiles ‘chunky,’ and too much to handle, but the V neck not so much. It’s a bit hard to explain; it feels both different and natural at the same time. Sorry if that’s not much help!

Studied music in college in the late 70’s and early 80’s and playing guitar now 40 plus years and still the ability to learn by ear evades me.

I have the RD-318 and it's an absolute beast of a dreadnought. It's loud, and crisp sounding especially with D'Addario XS strings. I brought it to my local guitar store to get a strap button installed and the guy that works there told me that a Martin HD-35 didn't even come close to my RD-318! I feel like once more people start buying these, the prices will go up like they did with Eastman a number of years ago.
@codymmusic10 күн бұрын
Awesome! I’m likely doing a video on these in the next week or so. My local shop has a few…at the moment, and I wanted to compare a few of them. It’s an absolute beast for the price for sure. Thanks for the comment and for watching! More to come for sure.
@Shalalala11110 күн бұрын
@@codymmusic I picked the RD-318 because I have a preference for Mahogany over Rosewood. I'm going to bet the RD-318 has a bit more bite to it than the RD-328 because of the Mahogany B/S
