Can you do a lesson on soloing over the Nine Pound Hammer progression? Or maybe teach something similar to what you play in the short clip here. Thanks

Thanks for the video! I'm curious, how did you get that gig in Vietnam? I would like to go to there.
@codymmusic3 ай бұрын
No prob! I’d get the gigs in Vietnam just by messaging places we knew hosted live music. I had an initial connection since a friend I grew up with in TN had started a Brewery in Saigon (Pasteur Street Brewery) and I played at their brew pubs starting out. From there it was easy to book gigs. Just always be prepared for rain!

Just curious if you looked at the Beat Buddy? I know you’d have to have an additional loop pedal but I think it would solve most all your drum issues and combined with an inexpensive looper might be a good solution

I did! It was a consideration, and even thought about adding it to the RC-5 setup, but ultimately thought it would be too much. Weird connection, did you know the inventor of the Beat Buddy is one of the main characters of the movie “War Dogs?” I was listening to podcast about the true story behind the movie (it’s a wild one) and learned the guy invented the Beat Buddy, I think after the events of the movie. He was actually in the movie, playing guitar and singing in nursing home (unless I’m mistaken). It’s an intriguing story. His names David Packouz. Thanks for the comment and for watching!

My head phone mic does not work with rc 600. I used a mic/phone splitter cable, inserted mic jack to the input 2 in rc 600 and phone jack to phone output on rc 600. No sound comes out. I also inserted the mic input directly into guitar amp, but still no sound comes out. Any insight?

Hey there! I haven’t used the mics too much, but could it be that it needs phantom power? It’s built into the pedal, but you have to toggle it on.

I have had mine for a while and I have to say I don’t really enjoy using it because it’s so unnecessarily complicated, that and mine has a constant hissing in the background. Also the drums change tempo on their own sometimes so I don’t feel comfortable using it live.
