Yeah mate it’s certainly different now. When I lived in Mudgee and the road was closed it was very peaceful and there was hardly any traffic. I used to camp there A lot. It’s still very nice but yes rubbish is an issue and the traffic is a lot higher now

you won't regret heading out and having a look. There are some amazing spots out there and it's a fantastic history filled region.
